64 años, 6 meses de práctica. Sin duda la presión es mi mejor amiga. Todavía luchando por abandonar la compulsión por ser veloz y súper flexible 😅 Gracias por tus consejos, haré lo posible por introyectarlos ⚡️

4 areas to focus on to improve at bjj:

1. Choose high percentage submissions

2. Immerse yourself in the study of a few skills

3. Focus on a small set of skills at the expense of the less important skills

4. Identifying opportunity and pulling the trigger - use moves regularly

Love this. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the video!

Thanks, I needed that!

Love this!

I like what he is teaching with finishing the fight in a short period of time. I’m in my early 40’s and often in tournaments with the adult division. 18-29 y/o. If I’m going to have to fight 3 or more matches, fighting 5 or 6 min rounds and winning on points is going to drain my old ass. I am becoming more and more careful of not chasing a submission but looking for a window and until that presents itself, I’m grinding the guy down on points. This has been working for me and I have been able to fight with as much energy as the 20 year olds when I can hit 1:30, 1:40 rounds. I am 100% committed when I shoot for the sub. One thing I might add is I need to be honest with myself, if I missed the submission. So if I jump into an ankle lock but don’t quite have it,  I will lose points and look stupid as well as possibly get yelled at by the coach. So when I don’t have it, I need to scramble back to position.

awesome video, cheers!

this man is a god of jiujitsu

Danaher the GOAT COACH

This is what happens when you over-philosophise. I like it - he knows his stuff. Pretty cool.

What are the 6 main submissions that he teaches? Anyone know?

Does anyone know the sources for the second and third clips

Just would like to ask, where is the second clip from? it sounds like an instructional? thanks!
