I'm so glad that a bunch of people that have never worked a 9-5 know how easy a 9-5 job is.

I work in Crime Scene.  Every morning I wake up and think "thank God I don't have to film an undisclosed ad for lip gloss!"

As a famous streamer (7 subscribers) I can confirm it’s the hardest job in the world

the thing i don’t understand is if streaming is so much harder than all these other jobs, why don’t they just…go get one of these other jobs?

As a stick, i take this type of stuff personally

8:20 Yeqh, im sure the dude working on an oil rig or working construction thinks "At least I don't have to walk around in Japan and shop for cloths"... the absolute delusion from someone who never held a job.

shout out to the real soldiers making 10 minute reddit videos 🫡

'i have to fly 17 hours to japan and walk out in the hot sun' if i had the money i would spend thousands of pounds to do that, let alone making MILLIONS to do it

tbf, if i was a streamer that specialized in talking about american politics, i would also feel like my soul was being sucked out

Lol, I work on ships, I've done 8am - 5am more than once, and that's dealing with ballast pumps and shit. I think streaming might be easier, strangely.

my mother is in the corporate field and she absolutely has had to fly to countries like Japan and then walk/bounce from meeting to meeting immediately after wheels down while jet lagged.....why do they think seem to think work-related international travel combined with grueling days is unique to content creation, lmao?

To summarize every single "streaming is harder than your 9 to 5": being self employed means your performance directly impacts your pay check, you can't get away with being lazy and you don't get medical leave.
...
streaming is still easier than any other self employed job lol

Lol right because no 9-5 person stresses out about their job outside of business hours.

2:29 trust me, knowing who this guy is makes it a hundred times funnier 💀

Cheers mate, just sat down with dinner

At least you're down to Earth and have common sense George

I HATE how they all say you clock out at 5 and you're done. This is where they're out of touch. In almost all careers you take your job home with you. If you work in healthcare you don't just suddenly stop being sad that a client died when you finish work. If you work in an office you don't just suddenly stop being stressed hitting objectives. When you fall out with a co-worker you still have to deal with them and work with them. Why do they think nobody has ever thought about work after they get home? I'd love to clock out at 5 but it doesn't work like that.

People get seriously depressed about their 9-5

We need to start treating these people like court jesters again and not celebrates

My friend is a paramedic for North West Ambulance Service in England… 12 hour shifts, driving an ambulance going from delivering babies to trying to resuscitate a 57 year old man who had suffered a heart attack or taking down a hǎnginğ and trying to console the family…. Fallen elderly, car crashes, drunk people, suicidal people…….

Ordering dominos tonight because I want to treat myself
