Her voice... her beloved voice. It doesn't matter if she speaks or sing... her voice, her diction... the way the words come out with that indelible, unique sound of her voice. And then you add the charm, beauty, kindness, sweetness and wit. Dame Julie Andrews is such a treasure. She IS the Sound of Music 😍

What a wonderful sweet lady!  Julie Andrews,  pure class!  She is an absolute treasure!  ❤️🤗🙏

When I was about 14 years old, I lived by Fairfax & Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, and I used to go to the CBS television center and one day I saw Julie Andrews running up the walkway to get to the studio, and I asked her for an autograph and she was in a very big hurry, and she could’ve been very veryshort with me and not responded, but she was so kind and stopped and signed the autograph for me and she was on her way, and I will never forget that kindness. She truly is genuinely incredible woman a legend and she took the time for a 14-year-old to sign an autograph.

Julie, forgive an observation: you were a goddess then, and you haven’t changed. Class and stunning beauty.  💛🙏🏽

Julie Andrews really brings this movie alive with her clarity of speech & kind heart. She also looks very like my mother in England.

Julie Andrews is just so wonderful. I can’t never pick a favourite movie but certainly the sound of music has affected me the most .

One of the greatest movies of all time.  A timeless classic that will never disappear.  The musical score, cinematography,  casting, diretion, production  are all perfect.  Thank you Julie and Christopher for your amazing talent and the entire cast for your dedication to making sure this movie would be listed as the 4th best musical of all time by the American Film  Institute.

Julie was perfect and this iconic movie will never die. So precious and a great storyline.

She is my idol. I am 64 and still studying classical singing. Would be a dream come true if I can meet her one day.

What a perfect movie. Even after watching it a dozen times, I can not fast forward it at any stage.

The Sound of Music is a happy film and it made me happy. That's  why i loved it. The scenery, music and story line came together so beautifully.❤

I looooove Julie Andrews!!
What a unique voice..MATCHLESS!!!!

All elements came together at the right time in the right place to create and film a fairy tale. And we love fairy tales about  beautiful people and happy endings.  The real saga may not be as pretty; but the Hollywood version is indelibly beautiful in our mind and memory.  Julie's performance is impeccable 👏🥰 and the key element of the movie's success 🏆
