A Crashed Cosworth rebuild

https://youtu.be/rspU1jsB7Lk

A Yorkshireman, a Geordie and a couple of go-pros, throw in some fast Fords and all of sudden you have surpassed anything that is shown on normal TV. Nice one and cheers.

Thank you so much to everyone for there nice comments , It was a real pleasure to share the cars with Adam and all his you tube followers .
I am very passionate about these fantastic cars and love to talk about them and show them to people who share my passion . Im sure Adam will be back soon for some more videos for you all . Once again thank you to Adam and to everyone for there kind comments .
Keep sniffing the petrol . Paul

That DJR #17 was supposedly the fastest of the DJR SIerra's and the one Dick kept in his personal museum for quite some time until financial troubles forced him to sell it. It certainly looks like it's had some quality restoration done on it as the last time I saw it it was pretty rough and exactly how it was the last time it raced, so good to see such historical vehicles loved and driven.

Here's DJR number 17 doing the flying lap at Bathurst in 1992. It actually put up one hell of a fight against the Godzilla GTR, the GTR won on a technicality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zgIwRpKNCY

That's one of the best car documentaries iv ever seen and the fastest hour ever

That was the quickest hour ever.

Adam and Paul, thank you guy's, this has been the best hour I've had for ages, I worked at Bristol Street Motors in Bromley through the 1980's, right in the Sierra Cosworth heyday, Pre delivery inspections, servicing and modding them. I remember having probably 10 pairs of RS500 fog light grilles, god knows how many other Rouse Sport and RS500 parts under my bench (we were Rouse Sport and Turbo Technics agents) if only I knew then..!!!!!
Seing all these famous cars, being worked on and looked after by such an expert is great, listening to your conversations about them fantastic, really enjoyed it.  Cheers.

2nd time I’ve watched this, even better second time around!

Absolutely love listening about these awesome cars. Thanks Adam and Paul for the content.

Incredible, second time I have watched this ep. The best thing on u tube, obviously down under viewers and lovers of DJ’s cars are going to be gob smacked. Thanks for preserving these beauty’s.

An hour of pleasure  and knowledge  and serious  eye porn ,, the perfect  way to finish  my weekend  !

Brilliant Video , i'm a Subaru Man but Love Paul's passion

What an amazing video, I just sat glued to my telly 👍🏼

As an Australian who treats Bathurst as a holy site, I'm glad to see those old Dick Johnson cars are still around and being cared for. Loved seeing the Brock/Rouse Sierra in another one of Adam's videos too.

I’ve only just seen this, but as a massive Australian touring car fan, and growing up watching this era of cars on ‘the mountain’...can I say, I’m so glad that the DJR cars are being fettled and looked after by your mate Paul...even thou they’re in the UK and not home in OZ

Thank you for doing this I really enjoyed it keep up the great work 👍

Loved the way you so carefully put the steering wheel back love it

This is a cracking watch
