When is Josephine coming? We need a Pointe Shoppe collab!

Speaking the Josephine and the Pointe Shop collab into existence ✨️ ❤

“Do you have a You Tube channel?”
Yes- just a small channel……😂

Still waiting for the Josephine with The Pointe Shop collab!!!
The girl in the video was sweet but has only a year of experience fitting pointe shoes ?   I feel like you need an actual expert - like Josephine grew up in the pointe shoe family business and has been fitting shoes for YEARS as an entire career!

You need to collab with Josephine from the Point shop pleasee!!!

My favorite pastime, watching pointe shoe fittings. I don’t even dance ballet.

It's so cool that they're getting people to try out their new prototype and being completely up front about it - they want all opinions, all sizes and fits, all levels of dancers, because how else can you innovate? Looking forward to the rest!

I hope you and Josephine at The Point Shop can meet up at some point.

I also started in the Ava shoe with a toe pad and spacer and knew you’d love it as soon as I saw our similar shape. So glad you found a great pair! If you liked the Donatella aside from the toe pain, I have a story for you lol. I actually graduated from the Ava to the Donatella, and initially had the exact same issue as you- same spot, same toe, pain was intolerable for both feet. I decided to try a gel toe cap with a thin toe pad, and that gel toe cap turned the Donatella into my Cinderella slipper. Eventually I went a half size down and just wore the toe cap and spacer without a toe pad, and it looked stunning. It felt so comfy, too… dare I say both comfier and prettier than my ol’ reliable Avas! If you’d like, perhaps you can get try getting fitted again with gel caps for the big toes and see if it helps!

Capezio made REAL miniature shoes for Valentino ballerina dolls!! Back in the 1950s.

point shoe shopping is like going to ollivanders for a wand.

wow cant believe i caught this only 10 minutes after it went up! im so invested in the shoe hunt omg i've been waiting!!! also eva! i'm 26 and i'm going to start adult ballet classes soon :') i've always been fascinated with ballet but when i was little and i asked my mom if i could do it she said no...i had been feeling like it's too late to start, even back when i was 14 i thought it was already too late, and i just kinda accepted it with sadness for a long time. but since finding your photography videos and seeing your journey with learning ballet as an adult it opened my eyes that it's an option, and for the past little while now i've been inspired by you and slowly getting comfortable with the idea of giving myself a chance to learn ballet like i've always wanted to. so i really want to thank you for sharing your journey and your work with us. you are really stunning i have such admiration for you. your photography is absolutely breathtaking btw <3

Shes been getting over her box so much better❤🩰🫰🏼👌🏼🫶🏼✨🎀💅🏼

I’m 48 and Contempra‘s were my first pointe shoes in 1992. They gave them to the girls who had wide feet.😊 Good luck on your hunt and happy dancing 🩰

Why don’t you go to the point shop in California? They’re really good.

I’m loving this series. Why is point shoe fitting so fascinating?

I think gaynor minden are actually gunna work for ya as a fellow sadly not bless in the flexible foot department girly I was advised to try gaynors and omg I was fully on my box always they helped me so much getting over my box!

Eva, it's so fun to watch your content ! I definitely don't dance, never did ballet but I know all the names of the academy and I'm so invested in your dance journey. I especially admire your ignorance towards "You're too old to do ballet" . Inspiring!n

I always wore Capezio brand shoes in the “Contempera” style that ALWAYS came in beautiful shoe boxes complete with tissue wrapping paper, not those chinsy plastic bags like Freeds. I had to special order mine due to the shape of my feet. They lasted much, much longer than any other brand. Freeds only give you several wearings before they’re totally DEAD.
