Another delicious connection of Merino sock yarn - the only problem isI was supposed to be buying Kid Silk for my sweater and made a bit of a blunder 🙈 … oops.
I’m so happy though because this yarn is stunning. I better get the correct order in then I’m on a yarn ban!!!

I have knitted lots of pairs of socks with the Yarnsmiths Merino sock yarn, it knits up beautifully and becomes even softer after washing. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. I have also made a couple of Musselborough hats with this yarn for my adult sons and they loved them. One of the hats I made with a plain yarn and a variegated yarn so that my eldest had a reversible hat which he loved and he wore it lots when he was away in the Winter. You have lots of lovely wool there to keep you busy now that the nights are drawing in.🥰

Beautiful colors! What do you do with your left over yarn? I’m a quilter so I use left over fabric for scrap quilts. Do you crochet as well? Granny squares or circles would use up leftover yarn. I’ve been wanting to learn crochet just so I can make a granny square blanket. Lori Holt has a line of yarn called Chunky Thread that I want one in every color! 😂 I can’t even crochet or knit!🤣 Well, I love your yarn haul! My favorite is the Halloween one! I also love the yarn you’re currently using! You don’t seem as in love with it as I am, but it’s a very nice color way! Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Marcia I've knit about 15 pairs with the sock yarn lovely and soft on the feet it's my favourite sock yarn. I'm knitting a sweater with the sock yarn at the moment, it's knitting up great so soft let you know how it turns out 😊

I thought I’d share some yarn you’d like it’s James C Brett shhhhhh ( wool warehouse)wonderful yardage and also a pattern ‘the whitmore sweater ‘ by Amy Lowden I did a L and only used 2 balls .. lovely pattern well written .. I think you should give it a go 😂

I've knit and worn loads of socks with that blend of 75/25 merino/nylon but not that brand, it shouldn't pill... Tomorrow, I'll be casting on a pair in the Blueberry Pie shade which is the same brand but the ones that you have to cake up which I actually love getting out my big swift and wool winder for a winding sesh 🤣
The sale is still on Marcea, it's a really really really good price, too good to miss out on especially if you're already placing an order 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
I'm considering ordering a load of the Linen shade to use on a scrap sock yarn granny square blanket, no idea how many balls I'd need. I'll have to have a quick count up of the squares I've already done and try and work out how much I'd need for the one round on each square and then guesstimate how much I'd need for joining and the edge??? 🥰😘

Hi Marcea, ive got my haul from wool warehouse and made one vanilla sock with style craft head over heels and i love it, but..., how do you make the second sock when you have a bag full of other beautiful yarns 🙈, ive started on another in the yarnsmiths merino sock yarn !! Im gonna have a lot of odd socks if I carry on 😂 xx
