Set to highest quality! Quite a long mini vlog but it was a looong walk. Was a prime day on saturday for fungi but seems to have been a bad season for Porcini (boletus edulis) around here. Quite a few different fungi in this vid so I made some chapters. There are a few species of parasol in UK, some likely under recorded, so my ID might not be species accurate. & If anyone has alternate suggestions to ID’s, i’m happy to hear them! 🙏🏼
This is just a guide where I am sharing my knowledge, not giving advice. I have been mushroom foraging for 5 years & I do spend a lot of time researching and cross checking my sources, but there is still so much more to learn and I forage with caution. Please also do your own research if you want to forage and consume wild fungi & plants. It’s not safe to ‘assume’, you need to be 100% sure & seek opinions.
