When MX grabs boyfriend I imagine that he actually grabs him and when BF screams it's because MX is about to run directly off the cliff, and they have an "oh shit" cartoon moment before MX dropped BF and GF catches him

I cant believe bf spent 50K just to get an animation of mx chasing him with the hit song "Demise" Playing in the background

the note slides are actually so heavenly wtf 😭😭😭

Isn't it funny how MX, a gigantic BRICK WALL of a man, capable of ripping plot armour itself in half, was solely created just to make a shitty little child called Lucas miserable

"Don't worry! We're sa-" "HOLY FUCK!"
Honestly didn't expect GF to speak in this mod.

*I told you to not let him out of your sight.
*I warned you of what might happen.
*Now look where you are
*Running for your life for a second time this adventure.
*All I'll say is good luck. He seems pretty intent to catch you.

Silly MX, innocence gets you pretty damn far.

I mean did you SEE how far BF ran?

1:02 I just love this part. Plus MX going “HA HA HA” makes it better

I feel like MX is getting angrier as the song progresses because he gradually starts screaming more and more, up until 3:08 where he just loses his crap after seeing that gf is still alive

3:05 I love how Girlfriend after saving Boyfriend and telling him that they're safe, just immediately drops his ass when MX reappears.

POV: you turned off your older brothers game

My favorite detail is not the timer staying on 0:03 but whenever an opponent does a laugh BF will always respond with his own. However this is not the case with MX because only a true psychopath would laugh in this situation.

One of the only mods that made Boyfriend feel TRUE fear

Edit: 530 likes?!?! How?

2:02  Bro is dying from a major heart attack because he secretly ate a dry lemon and chew five gum ☠️

I know he says "LUCAS!" at 1:11, but in this context, it sounds like he says "BLUE KID!" just sayin tho

I'm starting to imagine a take on this song where MX isn't chasing Boyfriend throughout his world, but rather, all the way back to the start of the Warp Zone and blitzing through every previous song before looping back to Mario '85.

I like how Powerdown ends with the jingle for when Mario meets his demise, and Demise has the pipe travel noise as it ends, which pulls double duty as it's also used when Mario suffers a powerdown. It's a fun touch.

Look at him, Boyfriend.

He’s skating to you.

I said this back on Nightmare Run for Indie Cross, but it bears repeating here:

BF is an absolute fucking beast for being able to SPRINT AT TOP SPEED FOR NEARLY 4 MINUTES WHILE SINGING HIS HEART OUT AND BEING CHASED BY SHIT LIKE THIS

The 3 year old kid running so the pitbull named cupcake won't get him
