This is so well put together , I’m Middlesbrough born , always proud of where I am from, thank you for your positive comments and peaceful vibe , these days it’s a rarity to watch something decent and non political which isn’t inciting hatred and violence

Total kudos 👏  for listening to the homeless. I work in supported housing but for folk half the age of those you interviewed. Thank you for giving them a voice and treating them with respect.
Their back story is horrifically familiar to my ears. These are people worthy of our time, support and love.

As someone from Billingham with family ties to Boro, this hit home a little for me. Great people that have repeatedly been let down by those in power. It gets a bad rap, rightly so at times but the people of Boro, and the North East in general are absolutely different gravy. UTFB!

Thank you for a wonderful video. I am of 87yrs born 1937. I am a Yorkshire man and always will be.  I was born in Calthorpe St Cannon Park. In them day's everyone looked after and helped each other, no steeling no drugs etc. I am sorry to say, England has lost it's way.

I was born and bred in Hartlepool and lived there until 2006, l loved to go to Middlesbrough on a Saturday and go into Binns with its lovely spiral staircase, happy days ❤.

I have enjoyed your vlog of Middlesbrough, and I was born and raised in County Durham before work took me aboard, and I have stayed there.   It saddens me to see people suffering and the state of the North East has turned into, but the decline was happening years ago when the coal mines closed.  I was nearly in tears when that lad said he was on his way to the Olympics. Then again, the council don't give a toss and would rather sweep all their troubles under the carpet like what Middlesbrough did to the homeless people when being visited by MPs' on the homeless situation.   James, keep up the great work you are doing and giving people a voice.

The transporter bridge is getting restored and will feature a visitors center when it reopens in the summer of 25 as long as everything runs smoothly
