As a former home inspector, I would occasionally walk into houses and think “Wow! These are some great additions to the home, and really well thought out. They either know what they’re doing or hired someone who did.”
However, I would much more frequently walk into a home and think, “You did this yourself. Nobody should ever trust you with power-tools.”
This show is that but they’re supposed to be professionals????

I can’t judge them as I decided to make my room be black and red on the walls, purple carpets and yellow ceiling as a teen. I now live alone and working on making my entire house pink, so clearly I don’t have decorating sense

wait the intro is actually so sick

Now you have to paint your wall lime green and make a part 3 in front of it.

I like that iron window rod falling down can literally decapitate someone

How is it possible that these people weren't criminally charged for destruction of property, like in seriously?

Painting lampshades is beyond ridiculous. They are supposed to dampen and spread light, not block it out. 😅

i remember when those "5 minute crafts" went viral a few years back, and its kinda refreshing to know people have been doing these bad budget make overs for decades now 🖌

My theory is so many of the places they renovate end up ugly/wacky colors because they use discounted/unwanted paint.

Dude these people act like the protagonist of a show made for 8 year olds in the episode where they’re remodeling their room and the lesson of the day is that you should never commit to big decisions on a whim

It's like they're playing Minecraft trying to combine random things to make furniture (cuz mojang refuses to make them) except...
They're bad at it. Like 4 years old trying to build his first base in Minecraft bad.

22:07 "Is that a vase of baguettes ????" honestly i don't think this show can surprise me anymore

For $500, they could have bought a brand new SNES AND a Genesis and still had enough money left over to take the entire family out to dinner at Red Robin. Even with $500 today, the transformation you can make in a space is incredible. How the hell did they get everything so wrong??

Those random tiles attached to the wall are going to collect so much dust and be such a pain in the ass to clean

Decorating cents more like decorating non-cents

@nobodytotakeyourcall 3 months ago

maybe this whole show has always just been vintage rage bait

My grandparent's house was filled to the brim with roosters and elephants for decoration, but they kept it really tasteful and it was never overwhelming feeling despite there being like over 20 each. It was honestly really nice and I loved it.
The rooster decors these ladies got already feel beyond overwhelming and I hate it.
