Hello from Scotland . I have a 2009 Hioda Jazz and it was leaking at the rear of the roof weatherstrip , I looked very close and there was a hairline crack in the channel at the very end ! 😆
Other videos I've seen pinpoint it to under the weatherstripping at the sides of the roof, and can be at the seams of the hatchback, too. Or the taillights or antennae.
Looking into a 2007 Honda Fit and trying to decide if manually resealing the seams of metal is a dealbreaker.
Basically my entire flooring gets wet at different times between winter and rain in the other seasons. Sometimes my spare tire well is wet. Sometimes its my driver side, or the passenger side, or the back, or all.... I think anyone with tis problem needs to scrap the entire inside of the car, headliner as well, because I sometimes get a leak from the top of the windscreen and it falls out the mount for the rear view mirror. Well, I think it's there, I braked hard and water came flooding out, so it could be the antenna :( Scrap the inside and look for the leakS this way.
Thanks for making the video, but I don't understand exactly where it was coming from and what "RTV'd" means (maybe I missed that , though). You did focus on an area where the leak is most likely coming from, which helps. Thanks.
Dude mine just did the same thing and I can’t figure out where or why. This video wasn’t much help if you could make another or explain what the issue was I’m sure it would help a lot of us 🙏🏼😅
The rust is stopping me from having honda. Its a good technik but the body is a nightmare. Volvo is the best rust-protected car ever. So my 20-y old has no rust on it. runs like new.
Fits just leak. They ate super reliable but they have one of the worst common issue in my opinion, and thats leaks. I rather prefere to deal with mechanical issues than leaks all the time. All panels will leak eventually. That car could just be perfect if it wasn’t this.
