Great program! This kind of reporting, discussions and especially sorely needed history reviews for our times and for the younger generations who are often clueless and corruptly educated.

This guy is so interesting to listen to! Can't wait to hear him again! Thanks!  🙂

Bravo. It’s critical to continue such discussions.

Thanks so much for this--always over too soon.

What a fine scholar and clear expositor, Dr. Peter! Thank you Mr. Kokx for organizing tis channel and magazine. It fascinate me as a late-in-lif convert to learn of these historical issues. Did not the words ring above all these right/left French/Liberal: "When you see an unknown light a second and worse war under Pius XI will break out?" No organization no coalition will succeed until there is a general penance.

Glad to hear mention of David Irving, one of the few historians worthy of the discipline's description.  Unsurprisingly condemned by Wiki as "holocaust denier."

The interwar period is such a fascinating time. Great analysis, so much of it just gets compressed down to "the rise of Hitler" like nothing else was going on.

Don't forget about the CIA backed assassination of Catholic Prime Minister Ngo Diem of Vietnam,
and his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu on 2 Nov. 1963 while Madame Nhu, the de-facto First Lady of Vietnam. The so-called "Dragon Lady" and strict Catholic was in L.A. on a U.S. tour which she understandibly cut short and was scheduled to end with an important speech at the U.N.'s General Assembly in NYC.

At least Franz Joseph successfully invoked "Jus exclusivae"
against Cardinal Mariano Rampolla del Tindaro at around the time of the 1903 Papal Conclave allowing for the election of Giuseppe Sarto as Pius X.
We missed a bullet with that one, and as such, I hold Franz Joseph in high regards for it.
Additionally, it is in my humble opinion that Zita of Bourbon-Parma (although a pre-teen at the time), and eventually the last Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary may have also had some influence on the Emperor's veto decision.
What do you guys think?

Thanks! Tucker just had an interesting discussion with Lord Rees-Moggs a Catholic warmonger, on Aquinas. Posted today. The lord sounded more like an Isr-i.

I wonder if the Hapsburgs had allowed the starvation as martyrdom for Christendom, naming the cause as Liberal Masns, the revolt of good people in other countries would have stopped it.

German royal bloodlines really were the bulwark of Christendom. Habsburg, Hohenzollern, Romanov, Windsor (Saxe-Coburg-Gotha) all had German blood.

Can someone please answer a question about Charles of Austria no one has been able to answer for me yet?

May he rest in peace, but they're claiming the man is a blessed. ....What about the Sixtus Affair? How is that not complete treachery? Germany under William II bails Austria out, backs her to the hilt, and rescues her from Russian invasion at Gorlitz-Tarnow... and Charles starts secretly scheming for a separate peace, which would throw that ally under the bus and let the British and French go full Versailles on this country that saved his empire in hopes Austria would be left alone. He gives his "word of honor" to the Germans that he is not doing exactly that when they get wind of it. The French thought the lie was so galling, and would divide the Central Powers, that they published the secret communications with Charles, proving the lie. The whole mess was originally inspired by his wife apparently, who was an allied sympathizer to begin with. That is... a traitor, no? Then the Austrians started impounding food shipments en route to Germany via the Danube for their own people while Germany was being starved to death, during the war the Germans fought to defend Austria in the first place. If this isn't an insane amount of dishonesty and betrayal, I don't know what is... unless I'm reading the situation wrong.

How can this man be considered a righteous statesman? He secretly schemed to throw his loyal ally and rescuer under the bus and then lied about it to the world in his word of honor. And again, may he rest in peace and be forgiven all his sins. I just don't get the lionizing and would appreciate some explanation of the man's positive legacy. I'm very open to changing my mind if someone can bring some explanation. Thanks

The shows here are of much more substance and importance than the whining I hear on another you are probably familiar with.

Based alert; my guys are unironically putting the boss in a thumbnail

Yes, there was a conspiracy against the Austrian throne, and a dirty deal between the British government and Zionists for Palestine. However, the decision to go to war, which St Pius X opposed, is what actually brought down Austria, not the Serbian terrorism used to justify war. I have yet to hear this simple acknowledgement on this channel.
