Andy - from the bottom of my heart and as a German: Your pronounciation at the start of "Liche" and "Loch" made my 40 year young sunday eve relaxed face lighten up with a smile. Danke! :)

Such is the power of Khatep

The best theory I've found for the English pronunciation of lieutenant, is that it's derived from the way it's pronounced in the original old Norman.

A glorious stream that really shows why i love Lorebeards, a discussion on not just what is written but on the implication of what is written, loved hearing about Khatep because I bluntly agree, this is a character that clearly had to have been involved in a lot of what went down in nehekhara

Excellent stream. Firstly, i'm liking Nagash Anakin more than Malekith Anakin the more we talk about it haha. Secondly, Immortal Settra surviving the destruction of the world, billions of years in space, then being a genuinely insane character in AOS would be fun. Thirdly, i could just imagine Settra, spiritually broken by Nagash, turning on Khatep thinking Khatep was betraying him, only for Nagash to bring Khatep back immediately to not only enslave his former teacher, but also to torment Settra before Nagash leaves.

We really gotta start putting together an alternative Lorebeards timeline out there, it's getting pretty dense with our lore re-writes lol. it is Ourhammer after all.

Khateps task was to find a way to ressurect the Tomb Kings. Through Nagash he has achieved this. Its perfect.

Didnt expect to enjoy khatep this much, awesome stream!

Ive always found the Nehekharan first born to the Cult interesting

His appearances in Nekehara can be easily explained by divination. His or Druchii witches who wanted to get rid of him, from their lands.

Love you lore beards!

And here I was thinking he was just a dude who was stuck outside of khemri doing paperwork as penance for bs-ing to Settra all those years ago. .

The image of Settra going full ultimate Kars is not something I expected from the Khatep stream

Personal headcanon: Khatep was/is a secret member of the light college in Altdorf. Using Masks, perfume, magic and else to disguise he was a founding member and is the reason for all the egypt-theme of the colleague

My view on the relationship between Nagash and Khatep would be closer to Tom and Slughorn then Dumbledore due to the what I think the mentor student relasionship would be.

It sounds like Settra's End Times should have been the Ozymandius poem

I'm from Lancashire and when I first read about Revenge of the Lichemaster / I read it as Lie-kh.

Andy is a Felinid. Look at his ears.

Still waitin araby part 2 for militery and what you guys would make araby. Enjoy your shows.

What a lore drop at 3:07:20 @Andy

Turns out Gelt is just Kahtep, suddenly gelt goes from a dumb character that was a cool idea, and become a sick character that completely changes the scene.
