Fun fact: before it was moved to Blackpool, infusion was known as traumatizer. Which, honestly? It fits.

Blackpool holds a special place in my heart, we are very fortunate to have this in the UK.
Glad you had a great experience.

The greatest part about this park is how they fit everything in such a land locked area, they all work together very well

The big Dipper being 100 years old was designed without seatbelts (they got installed in the 80's) so as riders reached the top of the hills they would stand up and then sit back down as it descended (wish I could experience that) and its built on sand as the pleasure beach WAS a gypsy beach fairground that became a theme park

AMAZING idea with the voice memo. Like 99% the same. Such a good idea please continue it

Great video! Blackpool is so wonderful! The American Coaster Enthusiasts had their first overseas convention in 1985 at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, followed by a two-week Europe coaster tour. When we stepped into Blackpool for that first time, it was like we had died and gone to heaven! It was even better then, with the wooden Wild Mouse, the original Fun House, Grand National & Big Dipper were in much better running condition, and Roller Coaster had it's original, funky, awesome trains. Grand National quickly became a top-rated coaster, even taking some #1 spots (like mine, which it kept about a year). This was before it's new trains and re-profiling reduced the ride's thrills. Blackpool was, and still is, one of the greatest amusement parks on earth!

fun fact in roller coaster tycoon if you go to the bonus parks in the 1st game you can actually see blackpool pleasure beach from 1999 atleast in the UK version of the game

THE VOICE MEMO IS SO GENIUS, I would love to do the same thing in a few years if i start coaster vlogging

Brilliant vlog, Blackpool pleasure beach is a great park here in the UK which keeps a lot of classic history rides which most parks don’t do, love the idea of the voice memos! 👍🏻😎

Steeple Chase scared the hell out of me as a kid. Just strapped on to a horse by a seat belt. Gripped that thing for my life.

@nickdavis1260 3 years ago

The voice memo worked perfect! Made the video mesh perfectly !! Great work !

25:59 the amount of times I’ve gotten stuck on this hill lmao and one time it started rolling backwards.

28:17 the last time I went on skyforce accidentally spun myself into oblivion, genuinely dunno how many times I spun (too feckin many).

39:31 there is a ghost called Cloggy who haunts this part of the Ghost Train.

Honestly Blackpool pleasure beach has a special place in my heart cause it was the main theme park that we’d go to. I remember standing on my mums shoes so I’d meet the height limit.

BPB is like a second home to me, as well as alton towers 😭😭
