you can tell he didn't read the book when he says he's gonna go to the mountain to get some food

Bro doesn't know anything about Hunger Games. He's like prime Capitol Citizen 😭

9:00 "Too much singing." DUDE THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT, that's literally the whole point of Lucy Grey's culture, and Covey practices exist is every single book/movie.

It’s so hard hearing him talk about it without reading the book 😭

Calling mockingjay a flop because it didn’t have a hunger games really shows how you missed the whole message of the story.

Recently met Joe in a Walmart. I was grabbing a loaf of bread while he was running and screaming about papa meat. When I walked away with my bread, he ran up to me and threw my loaf of bread on the ground before shaking me violently and saying papa meat was king.. 10/10 experience

The books are gory! This book has a 12 year old be decapitated. They'll probably change it for the movie.

Reading the chat makes me realize as a huge Hunger Games fan that so many people have NO idea the insane lore Suzanne Collins has made behind it. Luckily I've kept up with it since she started adding more background in TBOSAS, but if I randomly started watching/reading it, I think I'd be just as oblivious as new fans.

I love how he insults silka not realizing just how fucking scary shes gonna be😭

You can see how he didn’t get the message of the story properly. And how he hasn’t read the books.

Making a 10 minute video out of a 2 minute video is actually impressive 😭

This is his 1000th video

7:40 the guy who won the games before Katniss and Peeta like killed the final person and then bashed his skull in with a brick like really badly, and then in like the 60th hunher games there was this one guy who had to be shocked by drone because he kept trying to eat the bodies

You gotta rewatch the Hunger Games cuz your knowledge is all over the place.

7:35 The game makers killed off a tribute due to him going mad an eating the fallen tributes.  Even the capitol couldn’t justify letting him win.  So in the film when Snow told Seneca and later Katniss in catching fire she “should’ve” been killed when she held out the berries.  They absolutely control what is seen.

Not him clowning Silka for blowing on her fingers, wait till you see her cook, dude.

In the book it says that one guy was a cannibal. This made the people of the capitol hate him leading to the game makers creating an artificial landslide killing him before he could win.

In all seriousness sunrise on the reaping actually changed my life (I was literally having withdrawals after finishing the book)

7:55 in the first book it brings up how one tribute was cannibalistic  and was not well received at all so yes!

7:42 The fact that there’s actually an answer to this is pretty sad. Basically in the first hunger games book, Haymitch tells Katniss that you can basically do whatever you want in the arena and the capital won’t care. However, the ONLY unspoken rule is cannibalism. There was a tribute somewhere between the 68th and 70th(?) games named Titus from district 6. I don’t know if it’s confirmed, but a lot of people theorize that he was in the frozen arena. There wasn’t any food in the arena so Titus resorted to eating his fellow tributes directly after killing them. It was so bad that peacekeepers had to go into the arena and tase him and take the bodies out.

The book doesn’t really give a reason why the capital doesn’t like cannibalism, but I’ve seen people online say it might be because they don’t want to be reminded of the “dark days.” If I remember correctly, that was after district 13 rebelled and the capital citizens would eat their neighbors/each other out of starvation.

I also wonder if Titus could’ve been a morphine addict and was having withdrawals in the arena. That was common in district 6.
