Some people have brought up that quest items shouldn't count as they are needed to progress.
I understand that, and it is nice how many of you are dead set on finding loop holes for me to beat the run, but the fact is I have been using this same ruleset for all of the birthday runs.
It was possible to beat Fallout 3 & New Vegas under these conditions. It would be kind of cheap to adjust the rules now just so I could say I beat Oblivion.

I would argue that the challenge in this is that you can not use any caps to repair and you can’t replace anything you use up.

Fun fact: according to the lore, someone born in October (Frost Fall) would be under the sign of the tower, so you should have been able to unlock any average door you wanted

Love the dedication to your "failures", I'm in the group that would grant you the freedom of picking up keys and items that are necessary for quest related parts so for me at least you did complete this without failing but it's all about how you wanna label your view of success. You can only use pickaxes,and wear the miner clothes and as an optional objective is to mine every ore node at least once
