I've been grinding out runs today to the point it's started to affect my performance. So many runs ended in the first 3 or 4 rooms. Got this pretty good run after a couple of hours. I think it's pretty clean compared to my previous full runs.
You guys, OBS and my editing software have been messing with me. I wasn't quite sure what time this actually was, but after retiming it a 3rd or 4th time, I think the time in the title is actually right.
I want to give thanks to @mzntori and m36z for the strats I've been lifting. 🙏
I don't want to take credit for their ideas.
I think there are new ideas being cooked up that could lead to a 2:20 or lower.

If their run was timed the way we used to time runs, this would be about a 2:16 but 2:20 with some mistakes still left to clean is really good

Runs are now being timed starting at the frame the static turns into a black screen at the start of a game and ends the frame the buttons at the "end of demo" screen appear.

You can skip the first boss
You dont need anything to do the skip up to lark(I only found a skip that needs the pistol)

Also its funny how everyone does some skips a bit different for example on the tutorial I am all the way in the back but you do it in front
