These two just click, they know each other so well, have the same humour and same energy. Its so sad that we will never see them together again.

and on that day thousands of triple j listeners crashed their cars.

Saw these chaps live on stage in Southampton back in the early 2000s. I laughed so much, I was gasping for air and spent most of the time trying not to piss myself! RIP The Rik!

Thanks so much for uploading this!

How I wish I could have the brotherly love and camaraderie shared by Rik and Ade. We're lucky they met

Love to Oz from England
R.I.P Rik

drop dead fred was such a great kids movie.. one of my favs

Hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
RIP Rik... you bastard!

A couple of Great big Cults!

Drop Dead Fred is a right cult of a movie!

Australia has always had such a great attitude about comedy - if it's funny, it's funny, just let it be free! Rik and Ade can just be themselves here without worrying about the host getting spooked, because he's just as nuts.

14:59 I still have my copies of "How to be a Complete Bastard" (1986), "The Young Ones Book: Bachelor Boys" (1984) and "The Comic Strip Presents..." script book (1983) all still in very good condition after all these years. Thanks for uploading this broadcast. It's great to hear them all pissing themselves laughing. Great photo of the two of them too. It would make a great desktop wallpaper.

The end "iv got asthma" 😂

Thanks for posting this. The 2 "Americans" who saw the "Young Ones" were probably from NYC because we were the only ones watching it on MTV by the late 1980's - early 1990s & laughing ourselves silly. But that's because they reminded us of punk squatters from L.E.S. & Alphabet City most  of them were college students.

I LOVE this interview :-) thanks for sharing :-)
