It’s June 2025 and I still come back to watch these two! Just brilliant.

Rik Mayall was one of a kind , the likes of we will see no more .R.I.P  Rik.

Who else is on a binge watching all these shows just love it RIP rick mayal.

"Stop laughing. Imagine you're watching Ben Elton or something."

Brutal.

"You looked a lot sadder than that in rehersal. It made me cry." Masterful stuff.

30 yrs old and still one of the best live stage comedies there is....

Bottom Live script as written: 15 minutes long.
Bottom Live as performed: 2 hours.

The bit when Ade says "a line from the play"and Rick instantly knows what he's doing ....the chemistry is insane

Rik Mayall was a national treasure that was taken from us far too soon. Ade Edmondson was heart broken and was never the same after Rik died, but I know that we all shared the pain together. We still miss you Rik, you sad, sad, bastard!

The perfect partnership. Rik forgets his lines, Ade rolls with it, improves and has everyone pissing themselves. The show got derailed by Rik and Ade pulls it back. Utterly brilliant.

"F*cking hell ... a line from the play!" That bit never fails to make me laugh

"F*cking hell! A line from the play!" dead 😂😂😂

“GET ON! GET ON WITH THE FUCKING PLAY!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

My favourite duo ever!  Miss you Rik 😘

The thing with them is they were so good, you never actually knew if it was actually part of the show or it was a blooper.

it's April 2026, I'm 71 years old, I saw two of the live shows in Leeds, and I'm halfway between laughing at the total joy of these two brilliant characters and despair over the notion that we'll never see their like again, and statistically I'll be seeing Rick back on the spaceship in the not too distant future.

Still golden after all these years

“We’re never gonna get out of South-fucking-Hampton!” Honesty, I feel that every single day of my life 😂😂😂

I saw Rik live doing the New Statesman in 2007. He was a force of nature. Such a sad loss.

My daughter passed away on the 14/12/2019. She loved this video 😢❤ I love it now can't stop watching it now ❤
