0:55 The more fucked part is when you’re 18 you’re given a letter saying that if an invasion occurs in the US you’ll have a be drafted if you’re the oldest male in your family

3:17 Ironically irs actually the reverse of what the media claims. Video games are violent because humans are violent, and we express our desire for violence in video games.

On PS5, for Baldur’s Gate 3, only 81.6% of people completed a trophy to take control of the ship at the beginning of the game. This area will take people about 20 - 30 minutes to complete. So that means almost 20% of people just turned the game on and quit. That could be about a million people at least that just didn’t bother to go any further.

23:55 probably not the exact line but something along the lines of "detecting multiple leviathan class creatures in this area, are you sure what you're doing is worth it?" the second half is correct, the game genuinely asks if what you're doing is actually worth it if you do deep enough/far enough into the ocean

9:21 That controller was made pretty much exclusively for the GameCube port of Phantasy Star Online. The point of it is obvious: it lets players type without using a cumbersome joystick-based ‘keyboard’

Imagine having a mechanic where you can stick your tongue out at enemies as a taunt, then the enemies become more aggressive after seeing the taunt.

Great video! Glad to see you're doing fine (i was afraid you might feel a little burnt up after the last post, but thankfully it seems that's not the case). Also, can't wait for the elden ring stream, watching Mari play one of my favourite games live is something i can't afford to miss!
