Such poise, and grace, and charm she has.

When I moved into my first condo back in '98 when this movie came out. My neighbour was at Omaha Beach and he even earned the Medal Of Honour, as it was hanging on his wall. I had the honour of helping him and his wife up the flight of stairs on many occasions, the very least I can do for a true hero, may he and his wife rest in peace.

I find it interesting to see how a new generation of young people reacts to this classic that was made in another era—a movie from the late 90s, when maybe they weren't even born yet. Seeing how the film still works and is enjoyed today is crazy and feels surreal

I absolutely love your genuine and heartfelt reaction! Thank you 😊

I know someone else will mention it but at the end, Ryan's wife didn't know who the Captain was which means Ryan never told her about what happened, or at least not much about it. I had an uncle that was in that war and I loved to hear his war stories when I was a kid, but there were things he wouldn't talk about, and I never understood that until I was older.

10:09 that beach is in Normandy France. This is the D Day invasion

Many surviving WWII veterans that went to see 'Saving Private Ryan' in the theaters walked out during the battle on Normandy Beach because it was just too real for them and brought back their horrific memories when they fought in WWII. Excellent reaction to 'Saving Private Ryan' Emm. I enjoyed it very much.

I love your reactions, Emm. So honest and heartfelt. Great job.

Don't worry about crying Emm, you still look beautiful, it shows that you have a kind heart ❤

Great reaction Emm!,  look forward to your next one

Thank you for your reactions that made some tears in my eyes.

Great reaction, Emm! ❤

Only the dead have seen the end of war.- Plato

The beach is in Normandy France. The iron structures on the beach were set out to slow down  any tanks the Americans might put ashore. It was June 6, 1944.

10:10 - The one on the right is a real Czech actor and says in authentic Czech language: ,,Don't shoot, I didn't kill anyone! ...... I'm Czech.....!"

Although the tracks are off the tank it is still dangerous until the turret is knocked out. My father served in WW2. He told me  a lot of stories.

6:12 the big metal obstacles are known as “Czech hedgehogs.” They are anti tank obstacles and the idea is that you clear them to make way for armor to come ashore. That’s what the Navy Demoman said “I’ve got to clear these obstacles, make holes for the tanks.”

FUBAR, SNAFU, MADDOG are just some of the non-official military acronyms, we soldiers used to describe the situations we found ourselves in. All gave some, some gave all.

The true meaning of FUBAR is: F*#cked up beyond all recognition.
