Southern realms need more provinces.

I don't want just new regions. I want complete resizing. Brand new chaos wastes, not chaos coast as we have now. Only hope in modders.

@MenwithHill 1 day ago

That's why I play with the expanded map mod. Gives you much more breathing space.

I honestly think they need to look back at Naggarond too. It's always been too small.

We needed one years ago. I wonder how many more times we'll see this video made.

still feels like adding Dechala near borders of Khuresh was devs saying '' this what ur getting be ok with it ''
same when Sayls new province is called Mountains End

@noragrey7016 1 day ago

they need to make the whole map easy 30% bigger in scale

@TheGermanicTribes 1 day ago

Even if they don't add Ind and Kuresh as factions, opening up those blank areas to spread existing factions out would be huge.

@kylarstern17 1 day ago (edited)

Opening up Ind would be massive. You could move Arbaal and Balthasar Gelt, maybe Alberic too, into Ind proper and then move Bhashiva to the Village of the Tigermen. Sadly GW don't seem to be interested in allowing it.

I will BUY a new, bigger world map DLC to play on. Expand the Old World (Norsca, Empire, Bretonnia) by a bit, expand the Eleven donut and extend the water travel to get to it, expand the New World by more (Naggarond, Lustria), and fill in the East.

Something I want to say about the Mountains of Heaven, if the Monkey King starts there next to Gelt there's no way the mountains won't also get a path more directly to Ghorst in his currently tight corner of the Haunted Forest, and the province could easily get a port to be able to head straight to Ku'Gath too. This would also give Gelt a way to get to that ocean that's not necessarily going through Ghorst's capital, making that area feel a bit less locked in.
Also if Dechala's 'almost Khuresh' province gets a new entryway so that people can hop the water between the two mountain ranges instead of both needing to go North first to meet each other, that'd help too.

So let's pray chaos Robbie makes the map expansion mod proper.

At least the world edge fog needs to be moved too. It is too close to the land and restricts vision and makes it feel cramped.

@maxpower5452 1 day ago

They deleted like half the map they made for tww2. They should add that back in and it would help a ton.

@pocketfish22 1 day ago

Ideally we'd get a map height and width increase to give places like the southern realms, kislev, lustria, and naggarond a bit more space but I'd settle for just more width to widen lustria and naggarond.

@rafliadam9079 1 day ago

the monkey king could go west, towards kugath, maybe having ‘secret mountain passes’ only his faction knows or something

@devinjones4393 1 day ago

Agreed, make the map larger

@sharkish0 1 day ago (edited)

At this point we just need IE to be replaced with the same map at like 1.5 scale or something. Not as big and with as long turn times as like The Old World or something but just adding more land and especially more ocean
