Great video and detail, I pulled my carbs for the first time on 2 Honda 50hp motors and they ran like a champ when I was done. Fixed the bogging down when under a load and saved me $200-400 bucks with getting it done at a boat shop.

That corroded round piece in the intake manifold is a sacraficial zinc anode. About 9 58 into vid.Cheers from westcoast Canada!

I always take the fuel hose off and run the engine dry of fuel before I go home. Never have any issues. 😎

need to remove the centre emulsion tube and jet, also soaking in clr or petrol over night is good practice

Not enough details, there's the jet needle in the middle of the carb you didn't pull out to clear the tiny orifice. Without cleaning that, engine will stall at higher rpm.

Been a while, have you done another rebuild/cleanout of the carbs? In trying to find how open the emulsion tube up the center of carb should be. If at all.

Did you have to adjust the gas on each carb after installing??

Do you need to replace the gasket or O-ring between the carburetor body and bowl?Are there any adjustments to the carburetor prior to re installation?
