Even with the compromised values,  WCW matches packed that raw, random feel (Flair and Patrick shoving match for example) that made it a pleasure to watch

This was the best version of Sting: that phase between the shitty 80s haircut and the Crow rip-off. Perfect.

I never realized as a kid that Flair was the star of all these matches. I was always a little Stinger, but Ric was doing it all. Bumping all over, calling every spot and controlling the pace of the match and everything. Like Sting doing the superplex off the top rope... you think he's the man, but Flair was the man calling for and taking that bump.

Sting was the man. Bret Hart wishes he could move around the ring like Sting. 🦂

Both Sting and Luger struggling to military press Flair in this match was a bit baffling to me.  I’ve seen them both lift him in that move like he was nearly weightless.  And dozens of times no less.
