Real ones remember all the Lex Luger references in hip-hop songs in the 90's.

Luger screaming like he was being butchered to death was always hilarious

This was alway my favorite version of Paul.

Paul Wight/The Giant got arguably the best rookie year of all time: he defeated legends like Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Macho Man Randy Savage, Lex Luger and became the youngest world champion in wrestling history as well as the only wrestler in history to win the world title in his debut match.

Lex Luger was one of WCW consistent wrestlers from 1995 to 1997

WCW actually had some beautiful belts.

Also great the match starts with a classic Luger "Oooohhw!"

Arguably the best ppv I have seen, GAB 96 was phenomenal.

WCW World Tag Team Champion Sting had a great match with Lord Steven Regal at that event.

0:25 😂 Oh yeah, thats when Bischoff was Jack-Knifed by Big Sexy Kevin Nash from the Outsiders.

This was a very good match. Very believable. Giant looks pretty good for a guy who is still a rookie! Insane

Later that year The Giant would make an appearance in the movie Jingle All The Way as the Giant Santa.

Paul Wight as The Giant always felt like such an attraction and a dominant force. Just goes to show what can happen with sensible and believable booking, and a bit of trust. I loved this run 🇬🇧✌🏻
