"So low i could've got under a snakes belly with a top hat on" is the best fraise i've heard in years.

"Knowledge dispels fear"
That's brilliant.

I love that he’s a big lad, knees all battered from his combat experience. Part of the British elite fighting force.
He’s sacrificed everything.
He’s so humble yet confident despite his brutal upbringing.

God bless uncle Big Phil.

I love Big Phil, he's so relatable. I have many similarities with Phil (difficult childhood etc) and joined the military (Royal Navy) which turned my life around.

Phil is a hero, a legend, but most of all a real down-to-earth man who is very honest and open about his life, his mistakes and his successes.

I want Phil to be well, successful and most of all, happy. He was dealt a very bad hand but through it all, thanks to his courage, resilience and humour in the face of adversity (RM motto!), he has achieved incredible successes and is a role model to those who have gone through or are going through similar struggles.

The world is a better place with people like Big Phil.

Going through all that shit when he was a youngster and still keeping a positive attitude by clinging to any bit of positivity no matter how small!! What an amazing guy. Seems such a nice bloke.........but you wouldn't wanna piss him off!! 😂😂. And fear doesn't seem to enter into his thinking! A touch of the Paddy Maine!
Dave.

Phil is the household name for us viewers. He developed his character and became this articulate, comical, knowledgeable, thorough modest presenter that is easy viewing and enjoyable. Just says as is.

Top bloke!, I had a similar sort of chaotic childhood, but I had it on my toes before they could put me in a children's home, the rumours about getting buggered were rife and that wasnt gonna happen to me! never finished school, I lived by my wits, when I was old enough I enlisted, went through the Light Division Depot Winchester back in '85

Phill you're a breath of fresh air to listen to. I wasn't in the military and grew up in a broken care system ironically called care?
I roamed around until finding a good life in Scandinavia.. thanks for your service and your story ❤
