They always played Savage and he was one of the greatest ever

Randy Savage: He holds any title for 1 second

Hogan: That doesn't work for me brother

@DeeJayConnor 1 year ago

Savage: holds title for twelve hours or so

Hogan: he's had it long enough, time for a change. To me.

This match demonstrated how WCW was rich with talent, but creatively bankrupt.

When he first showed up, I had no idea The Disciple was Brutus Beefcake.

Brutus looked fantastic

Shredded and jacked at 45. Unreal

Still makes zero sense 27 years later.

WWF beat em in the ratings the week before. Hogan "Put the belt on me brother"

Still blows my mind the transformation Brother Bruti went through to become the Disciple.

at 1:25 that fan really fooled both Hogan and WCW by brilliantly writing his main message on the back of Hogans poster! The back side says "Benoit was screwed more times than Bret Hart and is heading north." but not for almost another 2 years.

Savage dropped the belt twice to Hogan after 24 hours on Monday Nitro: April '98 & July '99.

I like it how Hogan comes out to Voodoo Child at times but also comes out to the nWo theme song. He's got two theme songs as Hollywood Hogan!

These two are wrestling up there in heaven now. Legends.
