Golb is just as much of a villain as the tornado that took my sand box when I was 3 🤜🏻🤜🏻🤜🏻

From the way I see it, chaos and harmony are just as important in our lives as we often realize. Chaos drives what harmony grounds—and not to quote a specific song, but it's true that after every hurricane comes a rainbow. Chaos can bring destruction, yes, but it can also be something that makes you feel uncomfortable, humbled, or like you're back at square one. And only learning to either accept the changes and move forward, or learn how to overcome them, only then does all the crap in life unify and become one, harmonized.

Chaos isn’t entirely bad, just like entropy—it is what it is, you can’t stop it or control it. It's an integral part of our lives. After all, it was from the depths of chaos that life emerged in the first place.

I believe maybe it was actually Golb answering Betty's wish, as Gunther was able to wish to be like Ice King rather than the crown just staying on his little head.

Her wish was answered by the curiosity of undoing.

If golb is a cosmic entity that’s allways going to be there,  maybe he knew that taking magic man’s wife would put magic man on the path he wants him too. Maybe he  knew magic man was a key player in him getting a new form(betty) I mean if you really think about it. Betty is a very intelligent human who knows the secrets to magic and she comes from a time that had science before magic became big again on earth. Golb is the embodiment of chaos but without logic, chaos is just violence. God I have so many theories, really hope adventure time goes into the backstory bc I want more lore

I like to think the reason Golb killed the lich was because he eliminated life from the universe and life creates chaos and where there is chaos Golb exists

Great observations! This is my comfort show and I hadn't thought about everything you mentioned before

What if Golb wanted so be more than just senseless chaos or he saw Betty as his true disciple how Lich wanted to be?

I did a bit of trolling in the comments but you did a good job bro.  Very entertaining video with good narrational skill.  Subbed to your channel.

"I wish to keep simon safe" is such a blanket wish. The crown decided the best way to keep him safe in that scenario was to merge. Because Simon being in the same dimension as golb ensured his destruction.

I watched this with my kids when they were little! It was just a cute show to me! I still watch now at the age of 41! I love adventure time

I always thought GOLB wasn't conscious until Betty merged with it. I thought it was just a force of nature that was tampered with as to why it was destroying Ooo. I mean, the fact that being digested by this being just literally erases you is horrific! There's no "you" anymore, and you're just gone, not even dead! 😰 I love your videos, btw.

How unfortunate that she can never ever even meet Simon again though. She will never experience the rebirth like Finn and Jake did, she will forever be merged with GOLB making GOLBetty for eternity basically.

The show really just hates Simon. He truly was a tragic being. Losing the love of his life, going insane for a bunch of years with a crown, having a few glimpses of sanity and seeing betty for a bit and then bam they finally see each other with the possibility of being together and she just does that ToT this show is crazy, but great video man! The story of Simon makes me tear up.

Magic madness and sadness ... i have a feeling that Golb is essentially the creator of all magic ..
Ever notice how his chaos never had a "happy ending" till Betty fused ?

Hey, this was a really good video, yo. I also noticed something about your channel and another Adventure Time YouTuber named Lessons Of. I noticed some similarities between both of y’all’s channels, like how your profile pictures look kind of similar, along with your names: Lessons Of and In The Life Of. Even the way y’all formatted your About sections is alike — ‘Lessons Of -’ and ‘In The Life Of -’.

Now don’t get it twisted, I’m not saying you’re copying Lessons Of or anything like that. I’m just pointing out some similarities I noticed between the two of you. I just wanted to ask, did you get inspired by him when you started making videos?

Harmony and chaos go hand-in-hand they walk closely

That rock throw sound you added xD 03:13

The reason Betty merged with gold is because she wished tor “however it has to happen the power to keep Simon safe” she didn’t wish to keep Simon safe but the power to and that was to merge with golb

so betty is the reason why simon is immortal

The second law of thermodynamics tells natural direction of the universe is actually toward that of entropy which is chaos
