To be honest, I was surprised by the number of requests I was getting for this video. I hope that I answer your questions and that annotating is more intuitive than you think. It's very personal and there's no right or wrong way to do it… I hope you give it a shot! 🌸📖💗

But this also makes sense because I think that writing in books, especially in the Bible was very taboo... thankfully we live in a different time now and marking up books is more widely excepted and encouraged. Wishing you the best on your annotation/Bible journaling journey!
Love, Rebecca

p.s. I need to figure out a better setup for these overhead videos because I was basically looking though my phone screen to read and write everything...writing behind a tripod while trying to not knock it over is also a challenge 🤣😅

You need to start a new YouTube channel and name it Bible study with Rebecca Ly. I learned so much in that little chapter that I would have never even thought of on my own. I would be your first member or whatever it's called. I would learn so much through you. You could teach this whole community so much about the Bible without even trying. You're teaching about how to annotate your Bible and at the same time I'm learning and seeing deep into the scripture that I would have never thought to go. God bless you girl! Teach us the word. Jesus loves you! 🙏💞

I just found your channel and subscribed. Thank you, Rebecca. Love your tips. I am 62 years old. Love that I can still learn from our young people. God bless you sister in Christ.

This was such a good video. It’s crazy because Psalm 1 is my church’s verse of the year so I know I didn’t stumble upon this video for no reason. God lead me here. ❤ I would love see more videos like this from you Rebecca.

I’m an older Christian and have my own way to study BUT you have some great ideas 💡 God bless you for sharing how you study! 📚 I look forward to trying this on my next study. I appreciate it so much!!!

I love that about Fruit in Season... MAX Potential and bigger & sweeter. That is a study on all its own 😊

It’s encouraging for a BB to listen to a Gen Z talk about the Bible, that was very direct and helpful ❤ thanks 😊

The algorithm brought this video to me and I love how you break this down. You are a very good teacher and very articulate. As a Christian myself, I learned alot from you and I am also very proud of you. Keep up the great work of the Lord! ❤🎉

I enjoyed watching this video because I have always struggled with how to study the Bible. I'm beyond grateful that you made it easier to study the Bible. Keep up the good work, love.

Wow I'm blessed. Thank you Rebecca. Continue sharing your Bible annotation journey. Learned a lot just by listening to you. God bless you and all the listeners. Glory to God! Thank you Lord for people like Rebecca who takes time to share your Word online. Continue Lord to fill us with your Holy Spirit and give us clarity and an open mind and a soften heart to hear Your voice in our hearts. In Jesus Name. Amen. 🙏 🙏 🙏

This was an amazingly beautiful video. I’m just starting my Bible study/journaling journey and I’ve been nervous to actually write, highlight or draw in my Bible. I also had zero idea how to go about starting or even how to really make notes. Watching you here has given me so much motivation and confidence to get started. I know I can’t honestly mess it up. I’m sure my first study/journaling bible won’t have too many dots connected or corresponding verses as side notes since I can’t quote too much scripture at present, but each time I start a new journaling study Bible, I know it’ll be more fruitful and contain more connected dots as I grow in my knowledge of our LORD and HIS word.

This was Beautiful! A straightforward and simple walkthrough both exegesis study and how to annotate it. I loved how you showed this. Young lady, may God continue to bless you and your ministry for Him. 🙏🏾

I think it’s so beautiful how you went right ahead and made a video just days after receiving the requests to annotate 🥰👏🏾👏🏾

I love, love seeing how everyone annotates differently and can help others pick and choose what works best for them. 🥰🥰🐢📖❤️

Thank you for making this video i think we can always learn or be inspired by seeing how others study. Ive always been a stationery person and enjoy being organised so having a system like this where you can see at a glance what youve learned is great. I think its also helpful to think for yourself what the passage means before jumping into a commentary, they are great for deeper study but what initially stands out to you might be what the Holy Spirit is showing you is appropriate for you right now ( fruit in season). Thank you again for sharing 🕊
