I don't know what theses people are talking about I have NEVER lived in a house in the US  where there was no door on any bathroom!!!!

They live in a complex and in some complexes and condos the mail boxes are in one central location so that the mailman can deliver the mail quickly. Normal homes have mailboxes at each house.

I’ve been in many homes over my 80:years and have never seen a bathroom without a door. That’s crazy .m😮

Most Americans would consider a 5 bathroom home a mansion (or nearly). This couple is extra bougie. The norm in American homes is what we call a 2 1/2 bath. Meaning 1 master bath, another bathroom, for the other bedrooms (for a 2 story) and a 1/2 bath- a toilet and sink without a bathtub or shower. Some call it a powder room.

I believe that many of the master bathrooms that don't have a door, tend to place the toilet behind a door within the bathroom (basically a toilet closet). I don't have a bathroom that big or luxurious, but I have seen many while house hunting or doing the Parade of Homes Tour to get ideas for things we could change in our home.

There's another video you should check out from Laurence at Lost in the Pond. He and his wife bought a home after he became a US citizen. Give you a different perspective.
The toilet that you see separate is because the w/c stands for water closet. Meaning the toilet is in like a closet space with a door you can close and a fan so that you can have privacy and someone else can be taking a shower or brushing their teeth and not be grossed out. Most homes depending on the region, I would say are anywhere from 1200 to 1800 square feet on average.
The garbage disposal deposits food waste into the same waste water line. Our water treatment plants are set up to accommodate the extra.
We use dish drainers that sit on the counter by the sink or some place them in the 2nd sink if they have a double sink. It has an opening on the tray where the excess water drains out into the sink.
Having a pantry is more mainstream than they were when I was growing up. We don't have one in our house which was built in the mid-70s.
Remember most of these aren't a NEED but a want. We don't have a dishwasher, garbage disposal or a specific laundry room though our washer/dryer is in our utility room which is a large space where we have our water heater, HVAC unit and room for a stand up freezer and storage space for tools and less used items/decorations.
Their mail delivery is because they live in a specific community design. Most apartment/condo complexes are set up that way but it's not a normal thing for most of the US. You'll see most homes have mailboxes attached to the house near the door, at the end of the driveway, etc.

Depending where you are is how your mail gets delivered most of us get our mail delivered directly to our houses

Not all Americans live in big nice houses. We have slums as well. Tiny apartments no bigger than a car garage to massive mansions that are ridiculously huge.

A garbage disposal is a unit that mounts under the sink and has blades in it that spin and chop up the food into basically a moosh and it just goes down the drain.

I live in Arizona,(115F / 46C today). The house I lived in as a child that was built in 1962 had a mail slot in the front door. When tales of pranksters putting a garden hose in the slot appeared it was filled in and a letter box was placed on th outer wall. My house has a mailbox just by the street. We had carpet, but now have stained and polished concrete floors.  It was fun to see the comparisons.

Ok I was gonna comment on the mailbox thing but I saw someone else commented on it already so I'll comment on the bathroom door. Of course we have private doors when one has to use the toilet. The things is on many newer homes, the shower and sinks may be in the general open area of the MASTER bedroom, but the toilet area will still have a door even if it's in the master bathroom footprint. Just common sense lol. The pantry is just added storage for food items that don't need to be refrigerated. In America, if you're building a home, especially a custom home, you can tell the builder exactly what you want. Can even have a heated driveway and garage floor for those living where snow and ice are common in the winter. The food disposal pulverizes leftover food and it goes down the drain into the sewage system where all that gets treated at the main treatment plant. Just clarifying a few things they didn't mention in their video. 🙃

A portico is basically a covered patio. A great room is a large front room that is a combination living room/family room/parlor.

For those who can’t/don’t compost, disposals are great! Grinds up the garbage like a blender and flushes it into the water disposal treatment sewage system or septic tanks

The garbage disposal empties into the drain and you can drop a lemon in it to keep it smelling good

It's too hot in Nevada to realistically expect a post office worker to go door to door outside.

It will never NOT be weird to me that English people call their yards a "garden". A garden is a separate place IN your yard where you grow veg, the grass is the yard part, the garden's an actual garden where you grow veg and flowers. No American would ever call their grass a "garden." The language differences are hilarious to me, knowing we speak the same one.

The average suburban American home has a mail box right out front. There are some complexes that will have a central location.

2:16 Did you say “y’all”?
I’m so proud! Brings a tear!

You can buy drainage racks. Usually plastic.  You stack your dishes on it.   Then you can put them away when they're not needed and have more counter space for other things.

Garbage disposal’s are like having a blender in your drain. You just flip a switch and it shreds the food while you wash it down the drain. I’ve never had mine smell. I’d imagine it could get bad if it broke or something.
