"We'll get the lunches, you've got work to do!" Had me in stitches

I mentored several engineering interns. Once in a while one of these "Daniels" showed up. We couldn't keep them busy because they finished every assignment very quickly and thoroughly. My mentoring was teaching them how to negotiate best salary packages after graduation and how to deal with bidding wars while they chose which offer to take.

first bit of humor I picked up on: "Explain it like you're explaining it to a sixth grader" "Not a minister?" slight pause "A sixth grader"

"That reminds me, I have to do your shredding" was superb

The most accurate part of the story is Daniel getting a B- for his report. It doesn't matter how original and thoughtful your work is, to get an A you have to follow the rules of the teacher - that's it. And the cherry on top is the adults who need to have the last word in the end.

"daniel needs a desk" gets me every time

The punchline that the PM got an A in the press but Daniel got a B in school... genius

Hats off to the kid playing Daniel. Such a good straight man for the comedy.

Sniggering at Australia being a leader in the industry was so well done as well.

"You have to go, too. The Prime Minister doesn't have a Working With Children check."
- made me laugh A LOT! 😄

Daniel is either extremely smart yet oblivious to what’s going on….or he’s riding it out and scheming to be the next PM

"What if he was wearing a hard hat..?" 🤣🤣🤣 I love Aussie TV.

There's lots to love in this, but one thing I love is how Daniel changes from just a kid to a valuable asset. The part where he needs to send his assignment to school and the one lady offers to compile and send it on his behalf is so funny, he just got himself a PA.
