I love that you gave her a scarred and beat up shell. You know from the game that she's been fighting all sorts of creatures and received her fair share of nail wounds. (Not the least of which she got from the knight). But I never thought of the fact that this is an exoskeleton, and those gashes aren't just going to heal over. They are etched into her shell. Her badassery is worn on her face.

I have never really seen hollow knight in a style other than it's own or something similar. This is such an amazing animation. Hollow knight is one of my favorite games!

The amount of care put into this cannot be understated. From the scene framing, to the overhead zoom through her horns, to the foley sounds, surface imperfections, fluid simulations, and subtle animations; this is a wonderful creation.

I have a feeling that silksong is going to be a prequel, partially due to the dialogue from older versions of the hornet fight that are still present in the French version suggest that hornet left hallownest sometime during the infection and/or the release of some of the vessels from the abyss. Regardless this animation is unbelievably good and you should be very proud of yourself.
