This summer was very intense, beautiful, and life continues to teach me a lot at every new experience, as I tried to live life to the fullest and say yes to everything I want to do and accomplish. Thank you for coming along. I miss all my friends and students from Portugal. I really had such a beautiful time with you, and I miss you and love you all. I also went to Japan with my boyfriend and got the wackiest nails in Tokyo! And with all of this coming to an end, autumn is literally already here. Love you all!!

The less layers, the better because you want to keep that transparent look that is unique to the medium. So I think it's worth investing in quality watercolors because the cheap ones will require a lot of layers to show nice color but that defeats the point of watercolors. Also working wet on wet works for certain areas where you want seamless transitions, but if you want to darken an area, wait for your first layer to dry before adding another one. Keep highlights only with one layer. Also I noticed you toned the paper first so maybe that's why it was hard because maybe the paper was too wet and also because the more layers you add then you lose that transparency. Hope this helps!! I absolutely love your art❤️
