You can fix splay leg, cut a thin strip of bandaid length-wise, connect the ends (adhesive side in) slide it up above the knee/mid thigh and lightly pinch everything sticky together (so the legs are where they should be naturally). If done right they will still stand and hobble along. After a day or two gently remove the bandaid (be careful with the legs) and the legs will be normal. When done early enough this method will pretty much always work.

Here's where giving your plants Shabbat off. That way they reach out for the water they're not getting for a day or so.

Awwwww, so good to see Tim. We miss him, such a blessing of a man.

You trim your tomato plants like I do. I thought I removed too many and they looked naked. :)

We recently purchased 80 quail. Produce about 60 eggs a day. We also have chickens and Guinea fowl

That thermometer actually measures surface temperature 🌡 not air temperature.

Coturnix quail are from Japan. Other varieties are from the Middle East and Africa.

You can go to a hardware store and get some steel wire and window screen and make a bigger sifter.

9:38 that would be terrifying being on a ship in the middle of the sea and seeing hundreds of quail coming right for you 😂

I've fixed spraddle leg with a straw and a little piece of rubber band in chickens, ducks, and geese. Once he strengthens up his muscles in the right way he should walk right again. You might try it next time you get one like that.

You can roll a plant heat mat into a cylinder, put a rubber band or thin wire around it and chicks have a warm place to hide. They're plastic & clean up easily with a damp sponge or rag.
