Retro bait challenge would be great. No boilies just have a range of old school baits to pick from like Borlotti Beans, Spam, Cheese Cubes, Maple Peas, Cockles, Mussels, Black pudding, potato cubes, Shrimp/Prawns, and Vitalin dog food! Try different stuff on each rod and see what works

Hi Tom, lovely angling. I think your next challenge should be to catch 1 20lber and a 30lber in 36 hours, and i think the best lake to do it on would be on the Infamous Oxlease lake with any tactics that you want. Best of luck if you take on this challenge.

Can’t believe how much St Johns has changed. But then the first time I fished there was over 30 years ago!
Nice one Tom. Great vid 👏

I've always enjoyed Tom's videos, even though our day to day angling couldn't be any further from each other.

I've always enjoyed Tom's videos where he does something different, like the Belgian canal a while back, so I'd like to see him fishing some more unusual venues such as canals and rivers in the UK or the massive public lakes in France.

Tom your last piece of advice really hit home with me, i did exactly what you said few years ago, fell into that trap of an obsession to catch a BIG carp , travelled to linear thinking i was going to smash it on B1, and tried fish well beyond my capabilities, wasnt able to get the distance , wasnt accurate, and the guys aound me were hitting the clip with ease. Your advice to fish within your capabilities is golden. Ive learnt a lot from then and find myself a lot more confident in my angling.

Beaut of a fish Tom. Thanks for all the videos, always making it feel like fishing can be made so simple but effective!

Next challenge should be one on the deck, one on a zig in 24hrs.

Awesome fish, love your content Tom. Always worth sticking to what and how you know and the plan you’ve made. Good job you didn’t move.

Hi tom, loving the vlogs as usual.
I’d like to see a tar farm special, were you have Mabe 72 hrs to catch from each lake, off the bottom, but only fishing the central pegs Mabe as tend to b deeper and bit tougher. So shows how to fish for quick bites and being mobile. Cheers

Cracking bit of fish mega watch

I've just got back from a 48hr session where I literally got battered by the wintry weather, second week of June! But, the first video I watched was this one, and I'm buzzing ready to go again. That's what fishing is, and what it does to you. Its an adventure, an addiction, and you just can't beat it. Bravo, Mr. Maker 👏👏👏

Very interesting to see this side of fishing a popular venue. Would be good to see a challenge where you fish a venue you have never fished or researched using only one type of bait.
