Watching Jocelyn blow on cold noodles like they were hot made me laugh. Great video and nice striper!

how do you only have 4.1k views.......

The quality of this video, especially the shots while cooking, were next level! Love the production value! Gotta get Taku to 1 mil subscribers!

Those are the biggest tea/tablespoons I've ever seen lol!

I never realized how much i enjoy cooking until I started watching you cook in this video. I love the education that is within the video and the angles of the camera work is phenomenal. I love how on-top you are on your work. I cant believe i have been missing out on this for however long since you started! I am beyond glad that I decided to sit through and watch this video completely. Keep it up!

Since I've watched so many of your videos, I can't remember the one where your chef buddy, that you had on as a guest, shared a trick to get charcoal started and lit up with a paper towel, vegetable oil and sugar. I've always used a chimney coal starter, since I don't like using charcoal fluid, but just tried this trick on my charcoal grill. Man, what a great tip!!!!! It wasn't super fast by any means, but I just set it and forget it. I had those coals ready to roll in about a half hour. The sugar really gave the fire some longevity and the coals were kicking ass! Keep up the excellent content👍👍

Jocelyn with the cold noodle blow had me laughing 🤣

Hello guys nice vid, I wanted to say hello to you at the street fair, but that line was crazy. I got some of that kelp chili crisp from Jocelyn. Haven’t had a chance to taste it yet. Anyway I was the guy with the outdoor chef hoodie… take care maybe next year

Been watching since before the van days and love seeing the progress the channel has made

Looks great.  I have a friend that loves to fish and every time he goes he takes a hibachi with, and he always cooks something fresh right there on the boat.

Yep Outdoor Chef Life in full effect. Back to basics

1:20 dude takes Japanese cold noodle to whole new level lmao talk about a "COLD" noodle lmao

Nothing much better than a well prepared Striper. And this is coming from a PNW salmon fisherman. We used to throw them away when I was a kid in Oregon over 50 years ago because they tasted "fishy". I fished with a friend on the southern Oregon coast 40 years ago that showed how to clean and filet them and make them one of the best tasting fish ever. What he showed me was to treat them like a tuna and get rid of all the dark pieces on the filet. After you do that they are definitely some of the best restaurant quality white fish. I actually put it up there with lingcod and halibut.  Make incredible fish tacos and fish and chips. I've been a fan of you guys for several years and have enjoyed your success and travels around the world. Well, that, and plus I've not made even one of your recipes and techniques that hasn't been incredibly delicious. Love your "homestead". Keep up the great work. Hope you and Joycelin and your crew have many more happy returns around our Sun...

Striper are GOOOOOD eating!

Catching such a massive striper and turning it into a refreshing Japanese cold noodle dish on the boat is absolute perfection! The coastal scenery and the incredible freshness of the meal look spectacular. As a fellow creator who loves sharing outdoor and traditional cooking experiences, I deeply appreciate your amazing culinary skills and the authentic way you bring nature to the plate. Fantastic work! 🐟🍜🌊

He’s almost at 17k four hours after upload. ❤❤❤

That was fire!!!!! The cooking setup is beautiful. The added cameos by Joycelyn are a chef's kiss to these amazing masterpieces you put together!

Hey bro, bought your cookbook and made the black pepper crab and mussels recipe. Both were incredible. Very cautious about over powering a subtle flavor like dungie crab but that recipe only complimented it. Nice to have some alternative cooking methods after getting a bit bored with traditional US methods for seafood. Especially since i grew up on the pnw coast and have been foraging and eating it my entire life. Looking forward to trying the others. Especially once fall mushroom season gets into gear.

IV been watching Fowler's Makery and Mischief on you tube channel.".Chasing the Stripper". Crazy didn't know they are on the west Coast also🎉.cool

It’s been so fun to watch you two.. I’ve been watching since before you guys had a house.. gigging days.. so cool to watch the life you’ve made..
