The third stage of our grand journey in a 1988 “Zaporozhets” — from Lviv to Zaporizhzhia (the place where this “Zaporozhets” was made). We're traveling through the places and along the routes where pivotal historical events for our people unfolded in the spring, summer, and fall of 1648 — the trails, forests, villages, and fortresses that Bohdan Khmelnytsky and his colonels journeyed across that year.

In this episode, the team travels through Khmelnytskyi Oblast, whose name originated in 1954 after the city of Proskuriv was renamed Khmelnytskyi. The renaming occurred precisely because of the events that took place 300 years prior within this region's borders; we'll discuss this in more detail in the video.

We're doing this to tell our history not from offices or studios, but from the very places where it unfolded — to breathe the same dust that Tuhai Bei's Tatar troops breathed, to be scorched by the sun that blazed down on Potocki's Crown troops, to wash with the same water that Kryvonis's and Bohun's regiments used — all to awaken in each of us an even greater sense of deep love for our Ukraine.

And most importantly — to raise as much money as possible to buy vehicles for our soldiers on the Zaporizhzhia front. In the previous two episodes, you donated enough for three vehicles, but the front needs thousands of them.
