Being vertical on the plug it will just fall out easier.

Hell of a review - great idea to see the old VS new side by side fellas!

Benn loving my Daniel Boone for 5 years now, but would love to upgrade to the 2.0 Peak!!!!!

Nice comparison, but I think they missed the boat with the new racking system. A rack you can't pull out and in the back of the grill?  For me, I would like a shelf that you can pull in/out which also  doubles your cooking space. Also, when going for a long smoke, I like to put the meat on the middle rack where you can use a water/drip pan.

Love It Don And Ron DrSmoke Guys.

Thanks guys I have ordered the GMG Peak Prime.

Love mine. Keeps temp w/n 2 degrees. Quality is outstanding. Great vid.

Yeah, that was freaking awesome. Ron opening the door, It was like being at a casino, playing the slot machines. And hitting a jackpot!!! Like this video for the manufacturer!!!!

I cannot wait to get the new model!

What the heck is the plug ins doing at the bottom, the connection better be tight as to not fall out over time.

Just purchased the PEAK 2.0. it finally arrived, another story. Will let you know. Ty

The cover working for both takes my excuse to buy the new grill away 😂

I love my Green mountain grill I have a peek up until when it quit and I needed igniter and then waiting since Christmas to get one

I know you are pointing out the differences, but y’all really make the original version sound like it’s the Dollar General model.

I've had my JB for 10 years and love it.  I like the new design but not the rack design.  It looks like the rib rack will only set to the sides, either left or right.  It would have been better to have extra holes so the rack could have multiple positions.  A full rack of ribs will be hanging off  to one side. A option of a full second shelf would have been nice. Looks to be quite sturdy, much better than the original.  Overall a very good upgrade

I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these! Great job guys

Where is the one with the burner

Didn't mention the optional searzone

Is there anything different with the Fan, Auger system?

Didn’t mention sear station
