You don’t choose the team you support, your team is chosen for you. Usually by the family you’re born into.

It will take years to explain fully the level of hatred the fans of each club has for each other. It involves religion, politics, society and a history that goes way back before either team existed.

If he'd shut the hell up, all his questions would be answered.

Glasgow rivalry...Religion, The Troubles (80s/90s for me) the schools you went to, the pubs you went to, who you knew when going for a job years back and finally the football. This coming from a catholic guy who grew up in Bridgeton

The 2 teams are located in Glasgow 5 miles apart..this game was at ibrox rangers ground so they get 90%of the tickets

“We are the people” is the Protestants way of telling Catholics this is our land

"The title's still to be decided". That's just a normal game, and there's 4 of them each season. Then usually 2 in the cups...and when it's a "Final"? It's even worse/better.

I was that kid.Born into a rangers family and support Celtic.Mum n dad used to take me to orange walks,I had accordion lessons, they tried god love them but I was,am and forever will be Celtic and they were ok with that.Maybe deep down they were disappointed but I was their son and they loved me for who I was not what I was.

The surprising part is, most of us have friends and family who support the other side. We get called 90min bigots because we get everything out over a game of football then adter that its back to normal. Granted on the day of the match you can get murders, stabbings etc but, yea, we definitely know people close to us in the other side.

I was in Blenheim New Zealand.. working in a bar.. another Scottish guy came in.. in 3 seconds I could tell he was a Rangers fan.. even when they're happy they're full of hatred..weird weird little angry people 😂😂😎✌️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💚

I'm Celtic born and bred but i married a Rangers supporter and we have two amazing daughters one Celtic one Rangers, i have friends both Celtic and Rangers but when it comes to the 90 minutes of football there's only one Team Glasgow Celtic, many doors were slammed in my house during games, my husband passed, my new partner is Celtic as is our daughter but sadly my one and only grandson is a Rangers supporter his granda would have been so proud, me no so much C'MON CELTIC 💚💚

As a Celtic and Eagles fan who has lived in Philly and Glasgow you nailed it early on Celtic are Eagles and Rangers are Cowboys

The fans don’t really party the night before it’s just the ultras and hooligans often arrange fights for the night before because there’s less police presence than the day of the game
