Basically one of the greatest rock bands ever. And Miss Misery is KILLER!

He is simply one of the greatest rock singers of all time.

RIP Dan Macaferty brilliant voice.

I grew up with this stuff...it never  leaves you

That whole Hair of the Dog album ROCKS!

I'm 60y old and remember loving Nazareth before I was a teenager ❤❤😂😂😂

These guys are awesome and never get enough credit for how much influence they had on the rock / metal genre - especially those vocals.
So many great song from them: "Razamanaz", "Expect No Mercy", "No Mean City", "Ballad of Hollis Brown"..... the list goes on.
Unfortunately, those really weren't live. It was very common back then for TV shows to not let the artists perform live. The audio on these were direct from the studio albums.

Been listening to nazareth since 1973

Nazareth is hands down my favorite band

Nazareth is one of my all time favorite  bands Very underrated Saw them in Miami when I was 17 back in 1977 and they blew me away

These guys kick ass. It's too bad the world didn't see it that way.

"Woke up this mornin' ".

His voice is amazing, sounds perfect with that guitar riff.

I went to see Aerosmith on their " Rocks " tour and Nazareth opened for them . That just made the concert SOLID !  Nazareth Rocked The House and Aerosmith was recorcding " Dream On " for the Live Bootleg album . WE left that stadium ( Freedom Hall , Louisville Kentucky ) nearly deaf because the music was SO LOUD ! ABSOLUTELY the greatest Aerosmith show I ever saw !!!!!   PK

Nazareth are another rabbit hole to fall down. You won't be disappointed by anything they do.

Miss Misery is off their album Hair Of The Dog, killer album. Another great album by them is Malice In Wonderland. Rock on...

A great band,very underrated.

I had a friend who like Nazareth in high school. I never thought I'd like them, because I wasn't into heavy metal. Then I listened to their full albums and made recordings of all their slower songs, which I loved. Then we went on a road trip together and I asked if I could put on my Nazareth tape, because I didn't want to listen to his heavy metal tapes. lol. After the first song he asked who it was I was playing. I told him Nazareth, and he said, "No, that's not Nazareth." LOL. Strangely, as I get older, I seem to have a lot more tolerance for enjoying heavy metal music. But I still love their slower songs a lot more. "Love Hurts" is one of my all time favorites. But they have so many that you never hear, unless you have their albums. "This Flight Tonight" is one of them.

I have had Razamanaz and Loud N Proud LPs since the early 70s Ash.  My son and I drove to see them in a free live outdoor concert about 20 years ago in Peterborough. Check out Love Hurts (another cover) and Turn On Your Receiver (original) to start.. Unfortunately only the bass player of the original 4 is still alive but they were amazing live and his voice is like that all the time.

Saw Nazareth at least six times. Once in a bar setting where I sat so close to the speakers I was deaf for almost the whole next day. Loved it.
