How to paint on ceramics 🪴 Making some illustrated bowls

This video is one that many have asked for - my progress of how I paint my illustrations on my ceramics. While I am in no way a specialist, I do have some practice decorating ceramics. And with every batch of painted ceramics I make, I get a little better.
So it was time to show you guys what I know so far! In this video I'm making some hand build bowls, which I'm also decorating with underglaze. As you'll see later on, it doesn't always go as planned, but I'm still really happy with the pieces I've made :)
Of course ceramics is already a humbling experience where many things can go wrong. And using underglaze to decorate your pieces adds another factor that may go wrong to that nerfwracking experience. I recommend making many small pieces to practice on, so you don't spend hours on making your super big masterpiece, that might fail because you don't have experience with your materials.
Anyways, whether you are going to paint on your own ceramics or something else. Remember to have fun and that messing up is part of the process!

the pieces that you showed that faded looked a little bit overfired? i think lower temperature would work best!
I am facing some issues as well such as bubbling and crazing with velvet underglaze. Which clear glaze would you recommend ?
Your new dipping glaze, which I presume was supposed to be clear, is either applied too thickly or is incompatible with some of your underglazes. You will need to do some test pieces to test the colours and application in order to succeed.
Ceramics is unfortunately very unforgiving in so many ways. 😢
