Showcase of the gas slowdown - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R_vN8MxbKVA

My favorite is when they nerfed to gas to slow us then added the new spore burst strain which all zoomed through the gas anyway

They stacked one crutch on top of another. The gas disorients enemies with a less-than-50% chance, so they decided: "If the enemy isn't going to spin in place, at least let them be slower." The problem is that almost all the enemies are faster than us, and the slow-down effect merely equalizes our speeds; however, if the gas touches us, the enemy catches up again, and nothing changes.

Armor says it reduces gas damage and effects, but it doesn't reduce the movement penalty.

Gas was my first real build I ever did in this game, it was so cool and badass and worked pretty well against all factions, then this change happened and when I went back to see how much it affected it, it was so tragic, one of my favorite builds massacred

When chemical agents came out i had a blast melee’ing bugs while living in the gas. Reminds me when i was no longer able to stun chargers with the stun lance then take out their tails. They love to nerf creative gameplay

I really wish the element resistance was 100% for the dedicated gas, shock, and fire armors. The fire one should also prevent fire status buildup. Unfortunately, AH is allergic to making things intentionally fun

What I don't get is why the slow applies both to enemies and helldivers. Like there's already the stun/EMS effect, it only slows us down instead of completely locking our movement like with enemies, Arrowhead has the capability to make status effects work differently on players vs NPCs, yet they choose not to in this instance for some reason.

I HATE the spewer always breaking your leg or arm with a freaking vomit man

Man, gas needs to get armor reduction debuff to make it competitive

Why do these devs get off to nerfing niche builds? They always do this and they’re actively making the game less fun and interesting.

Arrowhead would rather die than let something that isn’t the Recoiless Rifle have the spotlight. Heaven forbid that non explosive weapons be useful against heavies so they don’t fall off after difficulty 5. Same thing that happened to Light armor penetrating weapons.

The only exception is the cremator and the only reason Arrowhead made it good was to get players back after player counts fell off post-Cyberstan

I agree It needs to be reverted or make gas’s passive also immune to the effects applied when within gas radius.

Alt+tab switches between windows, alt+tab+shift does it in the other direction, hold alt while switching. Tab+windows key(between ctrl and alt) for multiple desktops.

eagle gas is susceptible to AA suppression

The input you might be pressing that changes your desktop is Alt + Tab

Arrowhead and their barely disguised recoilless rifle fetish

BTW, Muscle Enhancement booster removes the gas slowdown, and when hunter bugs stab you as well

Whenever Hive worlds first came out full gas with supply pack helped alot clearing bug nests in caves. I had enjoyed using this loadout a lot on bugs. I stopped playing for a while after cyberstan so when i came back and tried the same thing on a hive world the slowdown ended up getting me killed frequently.

I don’t like the gas changes because to me it feels like enemies ignore the gas slow down which sucks because you can feel it on the player

i also think we need a acid reduction armor passive that isnt from a colab or desert stormer
gotta love it when gas confuses enemies and they start running towards you backwards instead. also gas doesnt confuse super heavys at all but doesnt do the damage fire does fire does while fire weapons have the confusion effect on direct stream
