@22:00 you forgot to pay the maths budget, moody was present so there were actually only 629 eyes and one magic camera watching.

Karkaroff "I say we restart the cup until we all have two champions."
Poliakoff Stands up in the great hall "Its my time to shine."
Karkaroff From the room beyond "Sit down Poliakoff!"

Saying “this has been a normal year” followed by “nothing crazy has happened” seems to me that makes this year “abnormal” so far.

I love how Dumbledore is so calm throughout Goblet of Fire most especially because the first moment we see Dumbledore as "the wizard Voldemort always feared" is when he learns Barty Crouch Junior abducted both Mad-Eye Moody and Harry Potter and it makes that moment so unique and powerful. But if Dumbledore's just angry all the time IN THE MOVIE, it doesn't show how outraged Dumbledore was at Crouch for everything he did to Harry this year and there's no meaning

I would have really enjoyed it if there had been an investigation going on all year about Harry being in the tournament. Like you guys said, a 4th name being drawn in a 3 school competition should have raised all kinds of questions.

Hagrid is Dumbledore's best friend because they are drinking buddies. They're the ones we know are regulars at both the Three Broomsticks and the Hog's Head.

I feel like the way they laughed at each other's jokes this episode was healing. I could just feel the brotherly love through the screen, and honestly, moments like that are what family is about.

The fact that no one will have a drink with Dumbledore is one of my favorite things y'all have pointed out this series. Great job, keep it up! This series is a part of my Sunday tradition now.

I totally have written a fan fic where both Weasleys were co champions. The way they win the entire thing only using wizard wheezes is breath taking. One hint ton tounge toffee stops the dragon by clogging its fire then fills its mouth so it cant bite weighs him down so he can't fly and they walk up to the egg.

The word used to describe Cedric's reaction to the news that Harry has been chosen as the fourth champion is "nonplussed," which is one of those words that has two opposite meanings. Nonplussed can basically either mean surprised/confused OR unperturbed. While it's probably being used in the book as 'surprised/confused,' I like to think that Cedric is just completely unsurprised by Harry's being there, like basically in my head he's just like 'no, yeah, that makes sense, honestly I was more surprised when I was picked over Harry but no, yeah, that tracks'

You guys have put the idea in my head that trophies for major events just sort of appear in the trophy case of the champion school. So, somebody gets trophy polishing detention in Ilvermorny and halfway through they're just like, "Harry James Potter - TriWizard Champion, huh?" and then it just gets chucked back in the cupboard.

I think it's really funny that they find the politely thing to be such a good show of character when really it's just passive aggression, something that's simply inately British

Unctuous? Little goatee? ...Southern accent?

My brain just turned Karkaroff into Colonel Sanders 🍗😂

If I remember correctly, the Common Welsh Green is a native dragon.
I always thought they just grabbed that one last minute 😂

"HAREE! DIDYAPUTYANAMEINTEHGOBLETOFFIYAHHH!!!!!"

Finally here! The chapter ive been waiting for from the beginning.

"Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?", Dumbledore asked CALMLY. 😂😂😂

I've been thinking about a loophole for Harry to get out of doing the tasks:
show up to the tasks, then when it's his turn, say: "I give up."

Fred and George probably saw the tri wizard competition as a excellent way to advertise their products. Imagine seeing Fred or George pranking their adversaries the entire time as they try to fight A dragon.

I can just picture literally dumbledore drinking with all the headmasters in their portraits.

Reason for why I think Snape showed up in the room with all the champions: his whole reason to be right now is to protect Harry for Lily's sake and now he finds out that Potter went and got himself into more shenanigans which is only going to make his job harder this year. He's definitely mad that Harry entered because that takes keeping Harry safe out of his control. He already has so much anger that Sirius got away and now Harry's in the Triwizard tournament.
