I ran London too this year. I was the person, whilst queuing for the loo before the start, spotted you and your father, and shouted 'Harry', you kindly came over and shook my hand, saying 'hello...errr...Ian' (as it was written on my vest). You won't know this, as it's a funny situation, but as I watch so many of your videos, and for so many years, I feel like I know you. Apologies for not introducing myself properly...I was a middle aged man who was temporarily star-struck! haha! Congratulations on your great run! Mine didn't go to plan, like you it was my first marathon. I had trained for a sub 4, unfortunately the insane heat got to me so much that I came home in 4 and a half. I am getting over the disappointment, but the race / crowds were amazing. Great video.

You smashed it. Well done from the blue Mermaid in a wheelchair. Was my 218th marathon and 14th time doing London too. Was by far the best London yet.

"Mildly overwhelming" is probably the most British thing someone can say.

If this video doesn’t make you want to run a marathon, nothing will. Unbelievably good.

I am in Australia and I have easily watched more than a dozen vlogs of runners who did this years London marathon - including elite runners. BUT yours was by far the BEST. Your vlog was so well done - by the time you crossed the finish line I was so emotional for you. Thank you for sharing your story so well. Congratulations 🥂 🎉

My debut in a JogOn video @ 16:13!! 🎉 The dad-kudos that'll earn me with the kids is off the scale! Amazing run Harry, on a day when so many struggled - inspirational stuff 🧡🧡🧡

That "feeling" is what happens when people come together collectively.

Glad I made the video and thank you for saying hello to Maddie and Charlotte

Haha that's me in the green Ciele cap at 00:33 😁, I thought I was running around you for a while, saw myself about 7 times on this video! Serious congrats on that second half, it went a lot better than mine that's for sure 😅

It was such a special day. It felt like an entire city had come out and come together like I'd never thought possible. Bucket list stuff. It'll take something to top it

Wow you met the goat AND your first marathon medal signed by him. What an amazing day! Congratulations on your fantastic achievement 🎉

Well done Harry. I intended to film during the run but let's just say, I'm not a great runner, and survival quickly became the priority 😂. This video brought it all back. Massively appreciated. Actually in tears watching. Great stuff

What a great vlog Harry, fair play for doing so much filming, so much crowd interaction & such a strong & an even pace. Getting to speak to & have your medal signed by the king as well just tops off what must be a truly unforgettable day!

This was my first marathon too, I had delusions of 3:15 because the training had gone well. Obviously the weather had other ideas, just don't do well in heat (give me cold all day). Came in a respectable 3:50, the hardest thing I've ever done.

Watching this brought a tear to my eye. You are such an inspiration Harry

Great to see you at mile 10 Harry. You told me you were planning on negative splits and my word you delivered! You disappeared over the horizon after tower bridge… Awesome run!

Got quite emotional watching that.

I have mentioned on another of your videos, I heard my loud mouth at mile 6.6 around from Cutty Sark. Was there to support my boyfriend Tim. It was such a hot day just standing there. You did well to keep up with the fuelling too even when you didn't want to. Looking forward to meeting you on Saturday and (hopefully) scanning your barcode too :) jog on :)

I ran it last year Harry. Been watching it on tv since I was a kid. To be on the other side of the tv cameras was epic. I absolutely agree that London somehow feels different to any other race.

Well done on your run - one of the few who paced it sensibly, taking the weather into account 👍

I’ve recently signed up to my first half marathon. I’ve watched maybe 60 hours of half and LDN marathon footage, and it’s really helping. The chest infection has knocked my training this week but I’ve still got plenty of time to break 2 hours for the half.
