He used the phrase bong bong, meaning the average ph dude who uses women. Many ph YouTubers use the same phrase. I get it he could rephrase things he says but I don't think the guy is that malicious.

RG never did make it to my top ten favorite Vlogger list.  He appeared to me as vagabond who really hasn't found his true purpose in life.  I wish him the best of everything in his future endeavors.

Good research. I looked at the Belgian guy's channel and I was surprised at how obsessed he was with Regular Guy and Pro Life, even to the point of pointing out Pro Life's kid with no seatbelt and sleeping with his son in the same bed. The guy appears not to understand SEA culture, where a family of five can fit on a motorbike and kids sleep in the same bed with their parents until 4-6 years old.

Well... some of the stories RG posted were indeed told in a manner intended to titillate and weren't the best of ideas BUT the other guy sure is a busybody if all there is to convict are raunchy video stories he downloaded from RG's channel.

Checked the Belgian Nomad TV vids on RG... something about him and his focus on RG oozes mental health issues, he is off and almost childish in his mentality. Sure RG has some vids I dislike, but some are good too, and I imagine he seems to have an abrasive character. Never watched all his vids, but certainly have not seen anything that would warrant deportation. If I was to be leery of associating with someone, it would be Belgian Nomad TV - he has really weird vibe! Likely the reason he has so few subscribers.

Many of these bloggers are missing something in their lives, might be why they get into so much trouble, they don't really have any direction or purpose in life. I don't think living like a nomad in a foreign country is healthy after a while. A man needs to get some stability and build a life after a certain point, much as you have, and having respect for the country and the people in it is a basic courtesy.

PH is simply corrupt and the ruling clans want to keep it that way. They don't want any foreigner's influencing others or bad mouthing them. No slander means one bad word and your head will be on the deportation block. Highly doubt Regular Guy did anything major but they will pin anything on him to get him out now. Apparently he called the president Bong Bong and that was what did him in lol. His days are numbered. Simmy was never done for underage - it was the deportation excuse used but never charged and zero evidence was presented either..

The issues in CDO have nothing to do with minors what the F. If you did 5 more minutes of research you would have found the email written by a middle aged women complaining that Regular Guy's videos portrayed Filipinas in a negative light. This email was written to the vice mayor, and he brought it up in a committee meeting for discussion. This is nowhere near deportation level. Anyone that says otherwise is exaggerating the situation. There is not and has never been anything of the sort you mention on Regular Guys channel.

Some foreigner YT'ers have come to associate and use "Bong Bong" to refer to a local Filipino guy not necessarily with any overtly deep derogatory connotations As for supposed any links to referring to the PM, that is not his name and only a nickname; others will have the same... just that the PM is the most high profile well known one.

Regular guy has some good travel videos but he comes Across as a sexpat. An image the Philippines tourist department does not want to promote.
