Anakin getting treated for what he pretty much is,an angsty teen (take a few years) and getting grounded and SOMEHOW still accidentally bringing balance to the force is iconic

Anakin getting grounded after singlehandledly (well with some betrayal) killing Dooku, Greivous and Maul feels like a very realistic thing.
Just imagine the council's response when Anakin says he's on Soreno and has just killed the three most wanted people in the Republic (Well maybe not Maul at that point).
