Anna Torv was the best casting choice for this show. She felt as close to the game character more than anyone else.

It would be great to have a flashback episode in season 2 of how Tess and Joel met and the things they did.

4:26 to 4:36. The world succumbed so long ago to the Cordyceps infection that Joel has lost his faith on the cure. It’s a small dialogue, but tell so much about the hopelessness of the remaining humans.

The shot 4:34
The way the lighting shines on Ellie, signifying her as the last hope of a cure with her immunity.
The way the shadows drape over Joel, portrayed as too cynical and jaded to accept the miracle in front of him.
The last hope of humanity, in the hands of someone who lost all hope a long time ago.

Tess's tune immediately changes when she sees Ellie eating a sandwich. The virus transferred through flour and stuff; the bread Ellie is eating would obviously have to be "new" and likewise not infected, but part of me wonders if Marlene packed it as a nudge nudge. As far as I can tell, Ellie eating bread is right about when Tess seems to mull the thought over extra hard and change her tune.

Tess is so badass. The actress absolutely nailed it

I wish Anna Torv's character had lasted longer, but i guess they needed to focus on Joel and Ellie.

What I love about this show is how it made the story accessible to everyone, not just those who play video games. I always wanted my parents to experience the story but they wouldn't play the game so this was the perfect opportunity. They loved the show
