We watch the work at the boat yard in the waterway every morning. We call that tug the "tommy tippy" because it's looks to tall compared to the length. Fun to see where you're off to. We assumed it was the new park.

Hey Nate, great videos!  I wondered where all that rock was going.  Thanks for the tug & local information.  You said the tug was 14' wide.  Did you need permits & escorts to truck it?

I thought the piles of earth that were under tarps for YEARS were the contaminated soil with the opes of offgassing it. You're saying there is MORE that you all are essentially "capping" with rocks and other fill material?

Did the contaminated soil, that was stored there under plastic for a decade (with trees growing out of it), originally slated to be shipped by train to a certified site for that purpose in E. WA, leach its contaminates back into the soil? Now to be covered in "impervious" plastic and "contained" by a "protective" layer(s)...thereby maintaining the post-cleanup integrity forever? Forever, or until an unusual high water event(s). Bringing it back to the ever-rising toxicity of  "acceptable" 'background' of Puget Sound doesn't increase environmental health.
