Hey all,
While this summary is popular, I don't consider it to be up to my current editing standards. My current content is, in my opinion, better in terms of voice and editing work (Especially voice), so I encourage you to check that out.

"I hope he gets to Nero soon instead of fucking with the bike."

Vergil in the game: I am the storm that is approaching, provoking black clouds in isolation.
Vergil in this summary: I am the storm that is escaping, evading parental obligations.

The fact you can say "It's time for the most fun boss battle in the whole game" more than once is actually a massive compliment to this gem of a game.

That Vergil reveal at 11:00 may actually be better than the one in the game.

"But if you do that you'll be trapped in Florida forever!"

"Why do you think Vergil's going? There's no income tax."

Even in a parody, Vergil is so socially stunted I can't tell if he's trying to help or not.

"Do you always have to bring a plastic chair?"

"Yes, it comforts me."

several minutes later

"Do you accept payment in chairs?"

That's one way to comfort your traumatized kid, Vergil.

I love that canonically, Bury the Light plays when Vergil is on screen and has to physically turn it off.

"You're interrupting my MICHAEL JACKSON BREAK"
"Your what ?"
"I NEED this, V."
"Hey guys, it's me- what the FUCK ...?"

That entire sequence was so in-character for everyone that it felt like it could've been how the actual scene went.
