The Factory of a Better Tomorrow when the Non-Profit of a Worse Yesterday walks in

I love the theming of this game. You start out with DaVinci’s Hideout, which is based on very old Renaissance technology, then next we move onto Victoria’s Laboratory which is obviously based on the beginning of the industrial revolution during the Victorian era, and then next we have the Factory of a Better Tomorrow which is this weird amalgamation of Cold War Russia and America, having tons of communism propaganda and red theming as well as retro 1950s American decal, music, all sorts.

Even Avalon beyond this focuses way more on “futuristic” stuff, it really drives home how LBP 2 was all about technology, and the story mode was a journey through the evolution of Technology.

When your factory has been destroyed by a vaccum cleaner so you have to rely on a hand knitted doll:

I use to think that Clive's head was a note pad. But then he said that his factory once made calenders, and then in the 1st cut scene in Eve's Asylum she said calender man.

Do you remember driving all those sackbots away from danger? And eventually running away from that giant chicken robot thing...

Can we just have a moment to show our respect to the depressed calendar-man himself, Clive Handforth?

"im a little man sitting in a can.... and i thought my life had hit rock bottom when they told me about saturated fat"

I never thought such a happily peaceful game could have such a harshly Orwellian song in it, but it's perfect for the environment. I can't help but feel like I'm in the day-to-day rut of walking to work, sitting down to work for 12 hours, then walking back home just to do it all again tomorrow. It just perfectly encapsulates the feeling of being a drone, not really living life, but just moving through it on the way to your next meeting. The introduction of the jazz ensemble and orchestra add a feeling of hope to the droning melody, but they too just end up accompanying it, their act of "rebellion" quelled by the oppressive synths.

good song

ah yes gotta teach the children of their meaningless existence early

i love how this world is a blend of 50s USSR and USA factory work environments

I feel like most of the sounds are explained as like sounds of machinery and screens, and then the jazz and journalfilm are just like the radios laying around to keep your mood up, also i like how it slowly steps up in this video because it feels like it’s just you at work and then you start to just realize where you are and you can just hear everything at the end and your going insane because of how many things you have to do.

If school had a theme song.

After a whole decade of vibing to this dystopian soundtrack. I can never get enough of how well orchestrated this is. The depressing aura this gives is just absolutely perfect. Truly a masterpiece.

Rest In Peace LittleBigPlanet 2's Servers

Is it just me, or is Stephen Hawking rapping in the background

I love how some parts have a subtle voice listing names of general factory words like "wrench, circuit, gears,".

I remember playing this game with my mom all the time. It was the only video game she was actually good at.

For a 12 year old, this was like watching the beatles live

This perfectly represents what a dead-end job is.
